What a cool coincidence to see this thread! I made 3 cards today - 2 thank yous and 1 birthday.

I bought a lottttt of stuff today to make cards with! So I'll be whipping these out soon. :)

cool!

I'm trying to get my room squared away so I can do some cards. I have one swap then it's on to cards.

I'm starting a car making challenge this month.

Oh, that is more than I can do. The extent of my knowledge is pumping gas, making a car is beyond me. Inspect a truck I could probably fudge through ;) but no way can I make a car. :car: :confused3

Always available for a good laugh.

me, me, pick me...

I spent the day shopping with ZTH and PBF and bought a bunch of stuff to start making cards to ship to 123SA's DH. This weekend we are working on Halloween cards...:goodvibes

I am hoping to host card making parties at my house every week:woohoo:

Ugh...I just stuck my head into my usually neat and tidy scrap room and it looks like a BOMB went off in it...

Off to tidy it up (where I am going to put all of this stuff:confused3) so that dd can make cards with me today. It's pouring rain here so it's a good day to pop in some dvds and scrap ~ wish me luck;)

Rhonda

Good luck, you'll need it, if you're tidying! ;)

Our scrap area isn't looking too hot either... so I shouldn't talk.

I'm at 9 cards this month. I love making cards! These were for someone at work who wanted special thank you cards for her bridesmaids and flower girls. If you're interested, these are the cards I made for a craft sale last month and the thank you cards.

I so need this site! I dont usually make cards but want to help Susan's DH so I'm going to try! Maybe I can come here for inspiration!
Beautiful cards by the way! Thanks for posting them!

I saw a card in a magazine that was made out of a variety of cordinating ribbon. The ribbon ran vertical on the note card and on the bottom of each piece of ribbon by the opening it was notched in a ^. Looked adorable and what a great way to use up those odds and ends of ribbon.

I'm having a hard time picturing it, can you bring the photo on Saturday?

There is one of those in the Nov CK issue- I noticed it when I was looking at it last night- it had directions with it and looked fairly easy.

Exactly where I saw it, Rebecca. :)
