Hi,can someone tell me how far away SD is from SSR?I have to pick up a rental car from the car centre there.Also does the Disney transportation system run from SSR to SD? Thanks in advance for replies to this thread.

hope you are talking about Swan & dolphin.

from SSR you take the bus to Studios (not epcot) - then either walk or take the boat (I would take the boat - it is the first stop and less chance of getting lost trying to find and cross that bridge)

then just get off at Swan and Dolphin.

there are rental car in the DD hotels - much closer to you than D&S.

You can also walk over to DTD and take the bus to the Dolphin. Be aware that the National/Alamo counter closes promptly at 4:00 PM!

Thanks the car company we are using is Alamo.Any idea what time it opens in the morning?

The hours at the Dolphin are 8am-4pm.
