I am so excited! I booked my car rental a few months ago and decided that I would look at rates again in case there were any better deals. I got it for $50 less. Yay! How cool is that. I am more than thrilled.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

We leave in 10 days!

Same thing here! What co. are you using? We are doing Budget b/c of the whole port canaveral thing. Avis was relocated and has had bad reviews lately, so we are going with Budget (which by the way also has transp. to the port). Got a code for 10% off plus another $15 at time of pickup!! We still have till December, but the goal b/t my dh and myself is how much cheaper I can get it! Still working on that hotel though - waiting to see if December specials are coming out soon.

there is a website-

www.rentalcars.com

Which posts discount codes for rental cars for a lot of agencies.

We got a minivan for $199 per week through dollar

We are also using Budget. What "port" thing? Thanks.

I was referring to the fact that Avis is what we usually rented, but because of their recent reviews and the fact they moved their drop off location from The Radisson, we needed a car that could be returned at the port and actually had a shuttle there. Budget fits the bill - we can get a one way from MCO to cape canaveral and then the shuttle to the Disney Magic without getting a cab.

We used them after our 8/16 Magic cruise. Their shuttle bus had lots of room to hold more luggage and people than I at first thought it could hold.

They had 3 clerks in the office at 9 am handling the paperwork and another attendant who got the cars from the backlot and brought them to the door, with the air conditioner running so that the car was cool by the time we got in. He helped us get our bags into the trunk.

Returning the car at the airport was effortless. Just pull up and hand the attendant the key.

I know that there were many valid complaints about Avis on the Cruise Board just after their 8/1 move to their new location but they seem to have gotten their act together by the time we disembarked on 8/23. Although I prefer National when staying in WDW, I would not hesitate to use Avis if they offered a better price.

I too, always got Avis wherever we went, but Budget came up over $50 cheaper this time! Glad to hear Avis got it together.
