Car Rental Codes

I saw someone mention on another post that they got a car rental code on the boards and the were able to save a few hundred dollars. Does anyone know a code I could use? The rental I have is around $400. Way more than I wanted to spend.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best bet is to hop over to the transportation board and ask. Also check out mousesavers.com. They list rental codes for all the major companies.

I got my code from Mousesavers.com, like the previous poster suggested. My 12 day rental in August 2006, midsize SUV is $277 with all taxes and fees, not bad. I got it with the Alamo code on Mousesavers...Last year, May/June 2005, we got a full size car (National code from Mousesavers) for $139 TOTAL for 10 days!!! The trick to getting a really good deal, at least this has workerd for me, is to do a search on Expedia or Orbitz, even each individual rental company website, see who's cheapest, then try and apply the code. Then KEEP TRYING, the rental companies sometimes change their prices daily!!! The $139 I paid last year started out at around $275. It's kind of fun to try for the bargains...Good Luck!!!
