car rental at WDW

I think I read somewhere on these boards that you can rent a car while on Disney property. Is this true? We were wanting to go to the outlet malls, but don't really need a car the whole time. How much would this cost ( like a 1 day rental)? would it pay to rent it at WDW to return to WDW? I have checked and the cheapest I can get a rental from MCO for the 4 days we would be there is about 125.00. would I save $$ by renting a car for 1 dat at MCO, using it that evening to do my shopping, then returning it at WDW and taking a towncar 1 way back to the airport? By the way ..it is just me and DH...no kids this trip. Any advise is welcome...we have 9 days till we leave, and I still haven't gotten our transportation taken care of!!!!

on National's site. You may also be able to rent the car at WDW and then return it to the airport and save yourself the towncar on the way back.
