Car rental at Sanford Airport

First time ever renting a car at Sanford airport. Are the cars and the pickup located onsite? Any of the car rentals better than the others there?
Any advice for renting there?

I guess you can tell that I have never rented before in Orlando. Is there a good website to price out renting and returning a car back to Sanford airport.

When I priced out renting a car at Sanford airport for the time we need them it is pretty close to what Uber would be each way. Is there an advantage of one of these over the other?
Our fight leaves at 7:30 at night.

if you keep the car for your stay

plus: you have it for other things like meals flexibility or running out to the store

minus: you may have parking, gas and toll fees . . .

If you use Lyft or Uber will they use toll roads to get to Sanford airport?
