Thinking of taking an 8 day break in Orlando in February. Just about sorted out a flight with Virgin but looking at car hire.

Any suggestions about who best to use at a good rate that I can pay for in the UK and not get hit with any extras when I pick up the car.

Any help much appreciated

Hi,

carhire4less.co.uk. We looked into this 4 our trip in December for 3 weeks and it was going to cost us £446 for an intermediate 4 door which was the cheapest and is fully inclusive of all the insurances you need.

We ended up booking our holiday with Thomas Cook and I booked my car hire through them with Avis because they matched the price of Car Hire 4 Less so I didn't need to worry about it in the end.

Perhaps you should do some research, find the cheapest quote and then go back to Virgin and see if they will price match for you, at the end of the day they want your money so they will, within reason, give you discounts so that you stay with them.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Another recommendation for Airline Network. We used them last year and found them cheapest around and no extras to cough up for.

We also used Airline Network and had no problems whatsoever, you do have to pay in full when you book.
