Yes just heard that. Some good news then

We have travelled straight after the liquids scare and a couple of weeks after September 11th. Each time security was tight and things were slower but its what was needed at the time.

As usually happens this week probably will be one of the safest to fly due to the fact the authorities will increase security. What a nightmare for everyone there just now trying to go on holiday. We leave Glasgow airport thurs am hopefully. Hope everyone safe and well and gets their holidays.

CNN reporting that arrested man with burns died in hospital. Noboby else has reported this yet.

Someone interviewed on Sky News said she (and others) saw a man pour petrol over himself then get into the car !! Surely security could have stopped him before he ploughed into the airport then.

They need to tighten up the security yet again at Glasgow (and everywhere else).

Edinburgh is open but closed to any traffic. Not sure how people are meant to get there.

There seems to have been a press conference and the hospital where one of the suspects appears to have been evacuated after a suspect device was found on him.

One expert said we should all travel by public transport to the airports to cut down on this type of attack.

1. Has he ever tried to get to some of our airports on public transport, might as well set out two days early to try and get there

2. wouldn't they just target public transport.

As for they guy in hospital, they say he died from his burns, so he got part of his wish, thankfully he didn't manage to take any innocent lives with him

We flying from Glasgow but have booked a hotel there. Will phone the hotel about Monday/Tuesday to see what they say. Our friends are flying to Sarasota on Monday from Edinburgh.

They'v confirmed that it was conected to what happened in London. Aparently 1 of them was shouting "allah" when he was in flames, trying to punch a policeman. My DM & DD are in Alacante with my DD, I'm SO glad they aren't flying back till Tuesday, hopefully by then things will have settled down a wee bit.

1 member of the public did get injured according to reports, but i hope the culprits burns are seriously sore and he lives to face justice.
