you got to read inbetween the lines, this is a gullible thread not a blinker thread

Okay...everybody have your fun. Gullibility, sarcasm, stupidity...whatever. Since the last time I looked at new cars, backup cameras, lane change warnings and many other great features have been added. When I saw this being discussed (no blinkers on newer cars), I figured I'd missed a "new" technical gadget that takes the place of a regular blinker. So sorry!

But those features are for the driver. They do nothing to alert other drivers what that car or driver will do.

No, directionals aren't being removed, or msde optional.

It's not that they are no longer going to have blinkers. The cars sold for 2015 will no longer come prefilled with blinker fluid. You will have to purchase your blinker fluid and fill the blinkers yourself....

People in MA have thought blinkers were optional for a long time. We view it as telegraphing your move to the other drivers.
