Car allowance?

Are you of you currently working in a job that provides a car allowance? Can you tell me (approximately) what your monthly car allowance is? I'm new to this game and have no idea what to expect, what is covered, etc. and would like to get some information from those what are "in the know".

I get $575 a month and DH gets $400. My company also gives us a gas card to use but DH has to pay for his gas. My company assumes we use our car for 15% personal use. HTH

I don't get an allowance but our sales staff do. They get $400 a month and all gas (used for business) is reimbursed. This amount is added to their semi-monthly paychecks ($200 each check) and is taxed. It is up to them to keep track of thier vehicle expenses for tax purposes.
