Captain Cook's

We're leaving in 26 days (but who's counting!) and it's time for me to nail down the details, with you all's help, of course... One evening dh and I are heading to the V&A chef's table, leaving the kids in the room to watch tons of tv and catch up on sleep. I don't want them to have to deal with room service so I was planning on doing take out from Captain Cook's. I just realized I don't know if you CAN do takeout from Captain Cook's. Can you? Also, what are the lines like there first thing in the morning, like 6:30 a.m.? Is it worth the time to pick up breakfast or should we just, as planned, eat in the room (cereal)?

You can certainly do carryout from Captain Cooks. But I would consider room service anyway for dinner for your kids. It is so much better for not much more money. You could order it early enough so it's there before you leave for the GF. We've always had prompt service.

6:30 in the morning is not busy at CC except on early entrance days and even then it might not be bad until closer to 7. If we're staying gardenview, I'm usually over there getting hot tea around that time and it's pretty deserted except on EE days.

Have a great time at the Polynesian. 42 days for us now until we get to return! And have fun at the Chef's Table. We enjoyed it for our anniversary a few years ago. Can we expect a review?

We've been to the Poly twice now (and are returning for a 3rd visit in Nov) and have many tiumes taken Cap Cook's to go. It's no problem and very convenient.

The food we have gotten at Cap't Cook's was the some of the worst I have had at Disney. I would go for room service. Perhaps you could preorder it for them if that is a concern.
