Capt Marvins - what time

We have read the navigators available (and the grand cayman tendering info). Unfortunately we couldn't figure out if we could be off the ship by 8:15 AM if we were not on a disney excursion. Also.. they say that you get your tendering number at 7:30 AM (or after) and then wait. How long is this wait?

Also - Anyone used Capt Marvin with a 3 year old? Our DS LOVES animals and fears nothing but we still want to make sure.

HI!

We did the 8:30am Stingray Encounter with Capt Marvins and did not encounter any problems. We were at the office of Capt Marvins by 8:05am. Tendering was not a problem and we were the first ones off the ship, the walk to Capt Marvins was around 7-10 mins only.

We took our DD who's 5 and she really enjoyed it. At first, she was alliitle scared, but, after a while she was laughing and touching the stringrays.

my DD was 3.5 when we went and she LOVED it. She still talks about the man holding "that thing" out of the water and it squirting water on her. She is a huge animal fan (as we're driving down the street she's yelling "a KITTY, THERE's a KITTY" and we own 3 cats, she collects bugs, etc.) and we had to drag her back on the boat.

My 5 year old daughter refused to go to stingray city for months, so we did not book it. Then the morning of GC she changed her mind, so we just showed up at Capt. Marvin's without a reservation, and 10 minutes later were on the van to the shore. It turned out that she also loved it. Her favorite bath toy now is a plastic stingray we bought there. When we were there, the water at the sandbar was only about 12-18" deep, perfect for her.
