Cap'n Jack's August Exercise Challenge, come join the crew!

I'd like to join this month! It's been far too long since I was part of these challenges and I need to get back on track. Please put me down for 1000 minutes.

I'm actually going to break that down into 600 running min and 400 abs and low impact strengthening min but that's just for my own planning. I so need to drop some weight without overtraining for races. Maybe if I do this combination, I will avoid the injuries I've sometimes had in the past when I just try to get in crazy min for these challenges

Has this ever happened to you? Today I ran a 6.5 mile trail race and the right shoulder strap of my sports bra just came undone. I was running with it flapping behind me! I know - sexy, huh? But it happened somewhere in mile 5 and even though I fiddled with it for a minute or so, I couldn't fix it.

Just did 36 minutes of my squat challenge (thanks Pinterest) and yoga. So 45+36 = 81/900 :)

Going for the challenge again this month and I WILL reach my goal.

Started yesterday 25 min walk, today 45 min walk.

Just got home yesterday from our WDW trip! I need to lose this vacation weight, and work out while I do it! Please put me down for 1000 minutes this month. I did get in some minutes already, because we left WDW on July 30th but we drove from there back up to NYC, and stayed in Washington, D.C. For 3 nights and went sightseeing. So with all the walking I did in DC and also in Baltimore, I'm already at a head start. I will post the minutes in a separate post. Glad to be back to healthy habits! :)

Hi! I'm new and starting to exercise again after taking a break...a long one.

My goal is 900 minutes. That's 30 minutes a day and since we're already into the month, I'll add some minutes to some days.

30/900 two mile walk exercise on Comcast On Demand fitness.

I keep going to the Dr. and having higher blood pressure than normal. Usually my top # is 128 or 129, but now it's 144 or so. She is concerned and wants me to exercise and eat better by adding in more veggies.
