Cape May Cafe Breakfast

The food's just okay, the service was the worst I've ever had in Disney. There are much better character breakfasts, actually any other one, IMO, is better.

You must not have had Betty as your server Somehow, we've had her 2 out of the 4 times we've eaten there, and she's wonderful!

Which would be better--CM or Cape May for a two year old celebrating a bday? Which has the better interaction? By all accounts, CM seems to be a little chaotic and loud, correct?

My 2 year old is so easily distracted and is very hyper. Would Cape May be the calmer of the two? He is really starting to get into Mickey now and I want to do a Mickey breakfast for his bday.

Any other alternatives to see Mickey at breakfast besides Cape May or CM? Thanks!

Mickey is also at Ohana's breakfast at the Polynesian along with Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto - this one is served family-style so you don't have to deal with buffet lines (they bring it to you), but then by default the selection you get at Cape May is missing. They do parades and sing Happy Birthday at Ohanas which my now-4-yr old nephew had a blast with when he was two and a half (they were singing to my mom, not him, but to him a party's a party regardless of whose )

Great Pictures everyone!!, love the desciptions of the food and atmophere,we are there at the end of march and are planing a early Breakfast from pop. Anybody know what would be the best time,to be able to get there from pop with little trouble.

I think Ohana bfast is much quieter because it is a sit down style which may be more helpful if your child is hyper. The characters seemed more mellow. Unfortunately, I did not like the food selection at Ohana and would much prefer a buffet style bfast.

Thanks for the replies. I had been thinking about switching for a while now but was undecided. CM's just seems to chaotic and I wonder if the construction will still be going on in May? That is a consideration for me as well. As long as he gets to see Mickey, I think he will be happy. Besides it will give me a chance to see the resort before/after breakfast if we eat at Cape May.

You probably had the same server we had there in October. She never noticed us-we had to flag her down for everything. However, I encourage you to give CMC another chance. Our October breakfast was our fourth trip-had it been our first, we'd be reluctant to return. But every other time has been great!
