I cant wait to dine here on our next trip! Never been before. Just wondering thou.....whats the quickest way from POP to Cape May??? I heard cape may is a pain to get to. Should we just take a cab?

What time is your ADR? We have found the easiest way is to take a bus to DHS and then either take the boat if it is right there or walk over to BC. It's not the shortest walk to do, especially first thing in the morning, but it does get the blood flowing for the day. If you have one of those very first ADR's of the morning, it might be easier to just take a cab.:thumbsup2

Thanks for your response! My ressie is for 935am. I'd rather not walk too much. :lmao: Is there another option with less walking? haha. Yes im lazy! im trying to save my energy for the parks later on.

Either getting on the boat at DHS or taking a cab directly to BC would involve less walking. Also, I suppose you can take a bus to DTD and then get on the bus to the EC resorts (I'm pretty sure the bus stops at BC/YC, BWI, Swan/Dolphin), but transfering at DTD is rarely the quickest way to get from resort to resort. You could also take a bus from POP to EC and then walk all the way from the bus at EC, through FT, to the IGW in the WS and then walk from the gateway to BC, but that is also a lot of walking (much more than walking from DHS). As long as you make it to DHS by 8:40 you should have more than enough time to wait for a boat and take it from DHS to BC.

From the Pop you can just take the first bus that comes. Then when you get to that destination take the bus to the Beach Club. This is barely any walking but will take some time.

I agree with OhThePain on taking either a cab (quickest) or taking a bus to DHS and then taking the boatride back to BC.
For a cab, you could leave at 9am. For the POP to DHS to BC route, I would be at the bus stop by 8:30am at the latest.

Thanks everyone! :flower3: I'll probably take the bus to HS then take the boat. we love boat rides. Thanks!! :)

The boat is a really nice 20 minute ride. We always go this route whenever we have breakfast there. You will love Cape May Cafe breakfast...the food, characters, and service are all wonderful....it is a must do for us each trip :goodvibes

We do Cape May from POP every year and I HIGHLY recommend taking a cab. Cabs are always waiting outside POP and I don't think it cost more that $10. The reason I say that is because the other transportation can be a little unpredictable and we've arrived very late for ressies in the past. :goodvibes

We like to take the boat from DHS to Beach club. We love Cape May for bfast and the clambake! Enjoy :thumbsup2

I ate breakfast there to celebrate my 16th birthday a few years ago! We took the bus to Epcot then hopped on the boat to the Boardwalk.

We eat at CMC every trip at least once for breakfast, and try to get there for the clambake, so the hassle is worth it for us. My first choice would be a cab. If you don't want to pay for that I would bus to HS then boat to Beach Club. Allow no less than 1 hour for WDW transportation. If you get there early, you can relax in that beautiful lobby!

Cab with tip cost us $12. We did transpo back and it took close to 90 minutes... boat to Hs and bus to Pop. I'd do the cab in a heartbeat... at least 1 way!
