Trying to get away this weekend --- can't decide between Cape Codder Resort or Holly Tree......any advice?

Looking to just relax, let kids swim, enjoy whirlpool.

Where is the Holly Tree? I haven't heard of that one. It must be a re-named one!!

The Cape Codder would be good. It's nice.

The cape codder is nice has 2 small water slides and a wave pool ! The water slides have hight restrictions so if you have younger kids like I do they might not be able to go on those but the pool is fun!! They also have a movie down staires of the hotle at night for the kids.

I'd pick the Cape Codder Resort over the Holly Tree resort. I know people who have been to both and they liked the Cape Codder better. My kids have been to several birthday parties at the Cape Codder and they love the pool. The pool isn't huge but it is a wave pool. The pool gradually gets deeper just like a beach so it's good for little kids and older kids.

They also have a Hearth and Kettle restaurant right in the Cape Codder.

I think for kids the Cape Codder is more fun. If you are just looking for an indoor pool then pick the cheaper of the two.

Holly Tree is in Yarmouth near a bunch of motels. It's been around for a long time. My in-laws own a timeshare there.

I'm pretty sure the Holly Tree is where we stayed years ago and the bed in the room was a Murphy bed!!

I vote for the Cape Codder, it's fun.

Another vote for the Cape Codder. Whenever we can't get away during February vacation we take the kids to the Cape Codder for a couple of days and they love it.

I've heard that the Holly Tree pool was small. :confused3
I usually stay at the "Cape Point" in W.Yarmouth for school vacation weeks ,etc. They have a huge pool, hot tub and a kiddie pool which is great if you have little ones. I also like "The All Seasons" up the road in Yarmouth!!!Enjoy your trip !!!:thumbsup2

I also like the Cape Point, pool is huge and nice. Last time we were there they had an ice cream social for the kids. The cape codder is very nice, but can get very crowded and if you are staying for two nights the pool gets closed for cleaning for two hours at check-out time. They also have a spa which is nice if you have kids that age that would like a pedicure or something.

:thumbsup2 Cape Codder
ask for the new rooms...they are very nice. They used to have a bornfire to toast marshmellows outside the pool area...:lovestruc right next door to the Cape Cod Mall too..Olive Garden next door...:goodvibes
i think the Hollytree needs updating...;) just mio

Also, THe Four Seasons is nice for kids too. nice pool, there is a gameroom.
breakfast. They have free ice-cream at night...:cloud9:

I think Holly Tree is more for the budget family and I know a lot of older couples who stay there every year and they love it. The Cape Codder is more kid friendly with activities but it's probably more expensive.

Another vote for the Cape Point. We have stayed there many times and like it.

Even though our last visit(which was over 5 yrs. ago) to The Cape Point was not a good one, I would still recommend it. If at all possible the second floor is nicer than the first. The room we had was extremely musty and smelled of smoke. The hotel was full so they couldn't move us. The do have 2 great pools, and the Cafe for breakfast is very good and reasonable.
