Cap' n Jack's or Fulton's for dinner

We've been to both (Fultons a long time ago). Fultons was good and pricey.

Cap' n Jack's isn't worth your time or money.

Check out the menus and see which interests your family most.

Have fun!

PS - We love Sandwich of Earl at DTD.

Fulton's is a must do every trip. Captain Jacks we have not been to in years.

According to the reviews I've seen, Cap'n Jack's may be a contender for the title of worst restaurant at WDW.

If you're on the dining plan, you should be aware that Fulton's doesn't accept it.

I ate at Fulton's for the first time in January and it was one of the best meals we had that trip. I would go again without a doubt.

Dissenting opinion here. We liked Fulton's atmosphere and the waitstaff, but found the food overpriced and bland.

For reference - we prefer mollusks over crustaceans. It might be different if you prefer crab or lobster.

We have eaten at both restaurants on occasion although we have stopped eating at either location since 2008. As mentioned previously, Capn Jacks is not worth it. I would have to agree that it generally has the worst service and food for a table service meal on WDW property.
As far at Fultons's, the meals atre hit and miss and since the PRICE is substantial to eat there, without the consistency, we have also written off Fulton's for any of our meals.
Again, as mentioned previously, Earl the Sandwich shoppe is just about the best counter service restaurant I have ever eaten at. This place has some of the best sandwiches and the awesome Tomato Soup and my Earl Grey Tea is great. Do yourself a favor and skip dinner at the 2 table service restaurants you mentioned and try Earl's. Trust me, it's a great counter service meal. Even better, save yur money from eating at Earl's and go see LaNouba if you havent seen it yet, much better bang for your buck there. Good luck

We've had Cap'n Jacks and the food was not memorable.

The CMs there were a little rude, even though they knew one of the people in our party was also a CM. This was in 2007 though, so it was a long time ago.

We have no desire to ever go back.

Definitely Fulton's over Cap'n Jack's, in a big way.

We've been finding that the non-Disney-run restaurants are significantly better than the Disney-run restaurants, overall. If Fulton's is too pricey for you, try Raglan Road. I would go with Rainforest Cafe over Cap'n Jack's any day. Earl of Sandwich is also good for counter service.

Fulton's is beyond better IMO! It is expensive, but we enjoy it there and go about every other trip. We only dined at Capt Jack's once, but it was awful! So much so, that we have no desire in returning.

Thank you for the feedback, I think we will be doing Fulton's. Earl of Sandwich sounds nice too. Maybe we will head back to DD another day for that. Again, thanks.

NOTE: Fulton's, as several other WDW eateries,
is part of the Levy chain. The seafood is quite
good, but many think overpriced. One would expect
far better service considering the price. However,
the "riverboat" is a nice environment. Be prepared
to give CPR to your wallet when the bill comes, and
try not to gasp too loudly.

NOTE: Jack's is GREAT for appetizers and
cocktails. Tasty appys and great view over
the water. For meals, pass it by. And pass by
quickly. The service is mixed, and the dinner
food quality is well below average.

Have never eaten at Fulton's but have eaten at Cap'n Jack's once and won't go back, the food quality was awful.
