Thank you, I miss working there, I really miss the patients, but better things await me and I received some great training there.
I am more stoked for this trip now, I was excited before but now I actually have time to think about how excited I really am.

Our Disney fakation....

How did this Fakation come to be? I'll tell ya.............it was a sad day. I had just gotten a new phone, that's not why it was a sad day though, it was a sad day because I had just started my first year of MA school and knew that it would be years before my next Disney trip. I had started playing on my new phone and found an app called face in a hole. I searched Disney and some cute pictures popped up, I started creating funny scenarios and sending them to my sister Bo, we made up an entire trip based on these pics and called it our fakation, the next best thing, I will give you the highlights of our trip...

We had just arrived in beautiful WDW. The weather was perfect. Bo and I decided to explore the resorts, this is when we came upon the crowd of characters preparing for a photo shoot outside of the Grand Floridian. Bo and I think so much alike we knew without discussing it that we needed to photobomb this picture, if you look really close you can see us squeezing in between Mickey and Minnie.

After that we headed to MK. We don't believe that only children should be the ones to enjoy the Bippidy Boppidy Boutique. We had reservations for BBB.

Just look at me in all of my princess glory, I had a great time, not sure if I will do this again on my next trip though. After Bo was finished being made over by her Fairy Godmother we went out onto the lawn of the castle to meet Mickey.

What a great picture!!! Bo looks so happy!!
By late afternoon the princess dresses were getting a bit too hot for the Florida sun so we changed and headed back up Main St. and what happened next still has me floored, I had no idea and was amazed that Bo kept the secret for so long, my boyfriend had flown to Fl. just to get a picture of the two of us in front of the castle.

So we posed for this great picture and then he was off. I mean this was a sisters trip so he wasn't allowed to stay. It was at this point a strange man who I think resembled Captain Jack Sparrow asked Bo to pose in his family picture, Bo was a bit skeptical of this, that is such a weird request, he gave a long sob story about wanting a family photo for his mantel so she finally agreed, come to find out the kids were rented too.

I just noticed the kid she is holding looks a lot like me...hhmmm.
With the weirdness behind us we decided to hit some rides

I can't do fast spinning rides, so Bo was on her own for this one. Bo had a great time but ended up feeling queasy and wasn't able to ride BTMRR with me, she chose to wait it out while I went and got in the single rider line. I got paired up with Chris Brown. I think he was afraid of me, look at how he's leaning away from me like I was going to hit him,

it could be because I threatened to punch him if he threw up on me or behaved in any way inappropriately, I do not like this guy but you can't help who you get paired up with when going through the single rider line.

These new crocs belong to Bo, brand spankin new, purchased today. She is working on her Disney trip, she's just not very good at coming over here to talk about it, all I can say is I'm the better Disney fan.

But you still have a trip and yes, there will be better things in the future for you. I hope you find a job quickly and can be happy there too. When you get hired, just tell them about the trip and they will honor it, I'm sure. I was just hired and I was up front about my trip in August and it was no big deal.

Can you believe my kids grew up and moved out and are doing the whole grownup thing of paying bills? I'm so proud of them. I love my grandbaby so much, I started him on the Mickey Mouse club at 2 months old, he loves the hot dog song. Mickeys not his favorite though, he loves cars, anything with wheels is a "cruck" as Leom says. Thanks for stopping by my slowly dying PTR.

I'm a firm believer of when one door closes another opens. It still hurts the way they did it, I would have preferred a little more honesty.

Yea the trip was what kept me from losing my mind, cry about losing my job, smiling cause I'm going to WDW.

Sorry it took so long to answer your posts, gosh with the way I have been absent on here you would think I was Bo! Yes Bo, I am dissing you. Throwing you under the bus, and it's not a magical express bus either, nope I threw you under a regular ole bus. It's an ugly bus with bald tires, rust, a busted tail pipe and leaking windows.

Good news, I got a job, it happened a lot faster than I thought it would. My resume was submitted last Wednesday at 8:00am by 8:30 they called for an interview, I went in on Thursday and they called me this morning to offer me the position. I am excited to start my new venture. They were ok with my 2 week vacation this September, so I am hoping I will be so busy learning the new offices, yes offices, that I won't notice the time fly by. I will be rotating between 5 Dr's office, it's still a private practice, just 5 owners. All of the sights are real close to my home, the closest is 2 miles, the furthest is 13 miles. I don't get to wear my fun Disney scrubs so I have asked my mom to make me a quilt out of them.

63 days is all that remains.

So I have been on the job for 2 1/2 weeks and I love it. Thank you everybody for the congrats, I feel proud of myself that I only stayed unemployed for a month. I have worked at 4 of the 5 offices, one of them is temporarily closed until they get a new Dr. Things are very different from where I used to be...in a good way though, I just can't say how much I love it, I'm giddy with excitement.
45 days to go, or 44 and a wake up. FP are secured, Bo and I set our alarms for midnight on our FP day and skyped whiled we chose our ride times. We have gone shopping together by cell phone and text pictures, yes I tried on clothes sent pics to Bo and if she liked it, I bought it, the funny thing is; the clothes were for Bo. I picked up 2 sundresses and a blouse for her for the trip. I also got a frog tog cooling towel, still not sure if I will use it but at least I will be prepared.
I need to start weedeling through all the stuff I have collected for the trip and deciding if it really needs to go on the trip, sometimes I buy something just because it has Mickey Mouse on it, I might have gone overboard with that.

Hey there! I just started my new job also and have been at it for a full 2 weeks. It's tough learning so many new things and it has really been keeping me away from the DIS more than I'd like. But I'm on a 10 day vacation now, and hope to have a bit more time here. Also gives me time to get to some planning!

Glad to hear your trip is coming together and it's still on. It'll be fun to get away after the stressful last couple of months you've had!
