Alas, although I have a sister I adore, she hates even the idea of Disney, so I will never have a WDW sister trip, and have to settle for yours.

I owe Bo a huge apology, it's not easy keeping this PTR alive, back in the day when I worked from home or even at the store I seemed to have no problems keeping a PTR going until trip departure. This working 40 hours a week is really cutting into my Disboard time, yea sure I have my weekends but that is filled with Leom, laundry and other stuff I can only do on the weekends. I suppose I could learn to manage my time better, but once I'm home from work I get very LAZY. Maybe summer will be different. I will try better, I can't let this PTR die.

So for some Disney trip talk...We have purchased our MNSSHP, and today I purchased my flight tickets, this trip is on fo sho! Can't wait for my Dizzle trizzle wit my sizzle Bizzle. For those of you who do not speak Snoop Dog (now known as Snoop Lion) I said "I can't wait for my Disney Trip with my sister Bo." Did I amaze you? I bet you never knew I was bilingual.

Bo and I skyped last weekend and made a lot of changes to our itinerary, we had to due to the purchase of our Wild Africa Trek, we needed to change some things around park wise, we even added a crazy idea, can't tell ya about it, gotta wait for the actual trip report....this is not a ploy to guarantee readers follow me to my TR, but it's good stuff, EPIC some would say. Have I peaked your curiosity? I sure hope so.

Lol. I've never planned a trip more than 2 months in advance, so I haven't had the problem of keeping it going long term!

Seriously I don't know how you manage to go to school, take care of your family and maintain your PTR. I feel like there is never enough time.

It took me 5 years to get Bo to agree to one trip, but that's all it took, she's hooked for life now. Maybe there is still some hope for your sister?

Our buttons that Sarah from the Disney September 2015 facebook page made for me and Bo. I love it o much, now we can all watch for each other and hopefully have a few dismeets. It was a good week for mail. I love it.

So Bo and I skyped today, Bo was scrapbooking our last trip and I was working on my Disney planner, just the little book that I will take to the parks every day, it has our tentative plans, and all of our important confirmation numbers, I gave me plenty of room to write things down through out the day, it will make it easier to journal at the end of the day.

In other Disney news, I bought my airline ticket, I had been watching the prices for a while hoping they would go down, but they went up so I just had to do it, I hadn't planned to purchase it until June but I panicked, oh well.

And.....guess what I discovered by accident, this was by no means planned at all, but Bo and I are going to be there for the first day of the Food and Wine festival, I'm not a big wine person, but I do love food, Bo likes wine though, we plan to get the food and wine gift card and allow ourselves so much sampling, truth be told we want the card cause it would be a great add to our scrapbooks. That's it for the Disney updates. Just one more thing I need to add, it's not really Disney related but I feel compelled to share.

F&W seems like such a fun and adult part of WDW. Maybe some day I will actually participate in it. What's the gift card exactly? Do you preload it or is it like a prix fix thing??

Yes get your button! They are so cute and such a good idea. Sarah did a great job.
I usually have a big Disney binder with all my plans and room for journaling but I would never bring it in the parks, this way I can keep it with me and make sure I write down what I want to remember for my TR.
I saw the gift card for the Food and Wine festival on line, I think you can add what ever dollar amount you want and I'm pretty sure it's reloadable.

The DIS is my happy place, my I need 10 minutes to rest and re-connect with my homies, and get my Disney fix. My house is a pigsty, but yeah, I did cook 40 meals ahead of the term, during Spring Break so I could come home and DIS instead of cook. I am managing to pull As so far, but that will probably change this term. It's definitely a balancing act, that's tough to do sometimes, but the DIS is a place I don't want to leave lightly.

125 days till our trip, I'm banana dancing right now. I have dropped a few pounds to the point people are noticing, it makes me want to try harder now. I have started my Disney wardrobe shopping...again...banana dancing. I needed new clothes anyway, one of the things I am really looking forward to is 2 weeks without scrubs, that's been my wardrobe forever now. I bought some cute maxi dresses, I'm hoping they will be cool enough, I don't wear shorts anymore, I have old lady knees now, I don't let them out in public. Thank goodness for capris though. I have also bought some comfy sandals and flip flops, I want to get some croc flip flops too.
Bo and I have been trying to get in as much Disney practice as possible, most of it's done during our morning drive to work, but we did get to Skype over the weekend. Bo was starting to regret giving up our table service adr at BOG so I thought I would try and get another ressie, I told Bo that most likely they would be booked up solid, well the ADR fairy sprinkled some pixie dust on us and we were able to get a 7:30 dinner at BOG, first try, took mere minutes. However I have been trying to get an ADR at Sci-Fi on the 21st, no soap!!! I'm thinking because it's EMH at Hollywood Studios that night, oh well, I will keep trying and if it doesn't happen then it just wasn't meant to be.
In other non Disney news, my husband kids and grandson are heading to Chincoteague for the weekend, I haven't been there in years, I'm excited to hit up my old favorites, like Rays Shanty, they have the best fresh seafood.

Which means our airline tickets have been purchased and our info sent to DME, we are getting close to our double digits countdown, it's getting too exciting, I mean I'm so excited I can't even...I'm like sitting here not even being able to even, ya know?

Bo and I have been busy skyping, we skyped this past weekend while working on our Halloween costumes for MNSSHP, They are going to be great costumes. a lot of work is going into them, I accidently glued my tongue to my bottom lip while testing part of my costume out. I'm fine now, and Bo told my DH Kent to never let me use glue unattended again.
I'm pretty sure I have my Disney trip wardrobe all planned out, yes, I have written in my planner what I plan to wear each day, it will make packing so much easier. Can't wait to pack my new clothes and my new shoes in my NEW LUGGAGE

Being a Floridian I have never experienced DME, I'm not gonna lie I'm a bit jealous.

We have our outfits planned too; we're DisneyBounding the entire trip.

Bo is Disney bounding quite a few days, she's more into doing that than wearing an actual Disney shirt, I on the other hand love Disney shirts, I just got one from Lauren Conrads line at Kohls, I typically do not spend that much on one shirt, but the bow in Minnies hair matched a pair of capris I have perfectly. It was a no brainer, I had to get it.

I lost my job this past week, I went into work and 1 hour before my shift was over I was told that it wasn't working out and it would be my last day. I was totally taken by surprise, I never saw this coming, just the week before I was told that I was doing a great job and was a joy to be around. Then the next day I found out that they already had hired somebody else, a girl that used to work there, they brought her in as apart timer. I'm still in shock. I asked God, why would you place me in the perfect job, a place I loved so much and felt so comfortable going to every day just to have it taken away 15 1/2 months later. I didn't get an answer at that moment, but it came to me today, my answer from God, the first thing that came into my head today when I first woke up, "I didn't put you in the perfect job just to take it away, I put you in the perfect place to give you the best training for a better job." Immediately I thanked God for my future, I will keep my eyes on him. I had all kinds of worries, should I cancel Disney? should I apply for jobs before or after my trip? what if I get a new job but they make me cancel my trip? what if I'm on my trip and get a call for an interview but miss out because I can't make it? Again I was given peace, apply for jobs and I will do the rest.
The trip is paid off, the plane tickets are paid for. I deserve this trip, I earned this trip, Bo and I have been planning this since 2011. So I'm going, and whether I get a job before or after is in Gods hands, but I trust him, he's never let me down, I might have lost sight of him at times, but he has never lost sight of me.
Now I have a little more time on my hands to prepare for this trip and visit you fine people here on the Disboards. All 2 of my readers In Disney news, we are 93 days out. Our extra yellow bag tags came in the mail yesterday, I can now check 2 bags, actually 3 if I wanted but only the first 2 are free, so that is what I will do. On the way down one of the bags will be filled with non perishables like granola bars, packs of tuna, beef jerkey, trail mix, stuff of that sort, it will help save money since we do not have the dining plan, then on the way back my second bag will be stuffed with souvenirs, lucky for me I bought Disney gift cards every pay day so I can still get my shop on.
Now in unrelated Disney news, but still good news, my kids played an event tonight and they did great, it was tons of fun.
