Yay! I hope so! I got a lot done today, buying toiletries and all that fun stuff, so that's almost all finished at least!

Yeah, it's just some weird app called "Photo" or "Photos" and I hate it. I'm trying desperately to figure out how to get iPhoto back but it's not letting me! I have no idea what's gonna happen when I get home from this trip and try to put all my pics on the computer to do a TR! I hope it works! And is there anyway to make pictures smaller when you import them from your memory card, because mine are huge and I can't just drag and drop them into the DIS, I have to still use Photobucket the old fashioned way and it's obnoxious...

HELLO! Okay, so I feel a little less bad that it's been so long that I commented because I feel like you kinda knew I was behind and we have been able to kinda talk on Twitter here and there, but never mind, I still feel bad. Hahaha! I just hate being behind! ANYWAYS, it doesn't matter anymore because I'm officially all caught up and who really cares about anything because your trip is in 6 DAYS?!? Wooooo! And listen, the single digit dance better still be a thing.

Haha, don't even worry about it! Every single time I get caught up on the DIS and I'm doing good, something comes up and I get behind again. Like now, I'm in the process of getting caught up and then what happens? I'll be away in 6 days and I'll be behind again!

I know, I can't believe it, 6 DAYS!!! How did this happen???

I think if TT is a really long wait, I'd do single rider, but I'm just not that desperate to ride TT after they refurbed it. It's ok but I miss the old version!

I am opposite of you...I LOVE the new FP+ system (as long as I get what I want). We always get them for either the afternoon or evening at our second park if we hop, or we get them for the afternoon at the same park since we always do rope drop.

As far as people doing the single digit dance anymore, I know I did it, but the DIS has really "died" with this NEW DIS and a lot of people have left it.

I doubt I'll get back here before I/you leave (a lot to get accomplished at work this week and my Saturday is shot with my nails and pedicure, etc.), so have a magical time and be sure to say hi if you see me (and I'll do the same).

I mean, I don't mind the new FP system. I just wish there was a way you could get more than 3 at a time. And it's hard knowing what I want to ride and when. And there are so many rides that don't need FP's, like almost everything in Epcot, and the tier system there makes it difficult...you end up getting FP's you don't need! But I don't mind it, and I'm looking forward to seeing if this "new" way I'm approaching it this trip works!

Yeah, it seems like a lot of the old fun DIS traditions are gone. Like does anyone make mousekeeping envelopes anymore? That used to be such a huge thing!

Random Update!

Hi guys! Well I said I would do one more update, so here it is! There's really nothing new to share really, except I THINK I've finalized my ADR's. I think. I'm still trying to figure out our first and 2nd to last day ADR's (right now, where I want to eat on our first day is booked so we're going there our 2nd to last day, but I want to flip them...I know, it's complicated, but what I want for the first day is booked, of course! )

-So here's my final list, as of now...things might change while I'm there, or in the next few days of course! And these aren't in order, they're just off the top of my head:

Be Our Guest, lunch
Crystal Palace, breakfast
Boma, breakfast
Le Cellier, lunch
Cali Grill, dinner
Jedi Mickey's dinner at H&V
Ohana, dinner
Mama Melrose, lunch
Raglan Road, dinner
Beaches and Cream, lunch


-Notice how I don't have Sanaa in there? Well, that's because I don't exactly know when we'll be eating there, but since it's pretty easy to get an ADR there, we might just wait until we feel like going there and trying to get in. I also don't have Kona or The Grand Floridian Cafe, which I'd really like to do for breakfast, but again, those are pretty easy to add last minute, and we can basically do either one of those any day. I'm really trying to get Via Napoli for our first day, but the times that are available just don't work for me so I've been stalking it like a crazy person! I hope something opens up, because my last few ADR's kind of depend on getting that one the first day!

Ok, well, I guess I can't really call that a final list, now can I, if I'm going to be adding things and moving things around! That's just what I do. No ADR list of mine will ever be completely finalized!

-In other news, I think I finally bought everything I need for the trip! I got all of my "toiletries" (Brandon hates the word toiletries, which is why it's in quotes!) finished up today, I bought another memory card, because I think I'm bringing 2 cameras, and the memory card from my last trip still has 3000 available pictures left on it, I got a new swimsuit cover up, because mine was ugly and way too short, and I hated walking through the resorts in that thing...hmmm, what else.

-Oh! A few months ago, I got a rental car for $276 for the 8 days we will be there, which, if you ask me, is a LOT, but prices finally dropped, and I got our car under $200! I wish just one trip we could avoid the rental car, but we always go off property our first day to buy random last minute things, and then in the middle of the trip, we'll always need something from a grocery store or Walgreens so it's nice to have the car. I basically just hate the whole process of picking up the car, and Alamo always has the LONGEST line our of all of the car rental companies, and unfortunately, we have to wait in the stupid line, we can't use the kiosk or online check in for some reason.

-I think I'm going to attempt to get organized for packing, starting tonight, which is something completely new for me! I always wait until the very last minute to pack, which I actually like to do, but the last 2 trips, packing was so stressful and crazy, and I ended up staying up until like 1 am when we had to be out the door by 3...I'm going to try to avoid that this time. I want to attempt to get all of my clothes together, wash what needs to be washed, and actually start packing Thursday night instead of Friday. Thursday I want to do "toiletries" and makeup, and Friday will be clothes. I would love to be in bed by 10 Friday night, because our flight is at 6 am Saturday morning, so I'll have to be up by 2 to leave by 3 for the airport. (I'd like to leave earlier than that, but I know Brandon won't go for it! I'm going to aim for 2:30 if possible!) So we'll see how this goes. It would be nice to not have to do everything on Friday and just be relaxed for once!

So that's my boring update! Sorry I didn't have any real info for you guys, but all of the planning is pretty much finished! I'll be back either Thursday or Friday for one last little "AHHH I'm going to Disney World" post! Until then, here's today's little reminder:

Good luck in your final dining selections and re-arranging - I will cross my fingers that you nab the Via Napoli reservation that you want. Via is a requirement while at Disney World!

It's always nice to get your last-minute items purchased. Do you have ponchos? (Do you need ponchos in early May?) It's going to be at the top of my list this time as we got DRENCHED on our last trip (the one day I forgot about bringing ponchos ).

It's always nice to get most things put together before the last minute. I'm a regular last-minute packer for most things, but I'm really good at being on top of it for my Disney vacations. I hope you get to enjoy several hours of sleep on Friday!

-I think I'm going to attempt to get organized for packing, starting tonight, which is something completely new for me! I always wait until the very last minute to pack, which I actually like to do, but the last 2 trips, packing was so stressful and crazy, and I ended up staying up until like 1 am when we had to be out the door by 3...I'm going to try to avoid that this time.

Good luck with the packing! I'm usually pretty last-minute too, but have really been making an effort to do some of the work early. I currently have a carry-on suitcase and two empty diaper boxes filled with things to pack. Just throwing stuff in as I run across it (that we won't need in the meantime). Especially with an early-morning flight, that's a good idea, so you won't be exhausted from lack of sleep the night before.

Well I still use them, but I was wondering if people still decorate them and post them here. They were such a big thing when I first joined the DIS. I don't bother posting pictures anymore though because I just put stickers on envelopes and call it a day!

Thanks! This is seriously the first trip I've ever actually started preparing for days in advance with packing! I have a bin with a bunch of random stuff in it to pack, and I got my laundry done tonight, so starting tomorrow, the actual packing begins! It will be nice Friday night not to have to rush around for once and kind of just relax and maybe go to bed at a reasonable time!

Haha I know the feeling! I'm not really stressed out about ADR's, I'm actually pretty happy with what I have, but the Via Napoli thing is really annoying me. I've never been able to not get an ADR that I want, even back when Le Cellier was impossible to get, I always stalked it and found the perfect time! It's not working with Via Napoli!
