can't stop obsessing...

this is awful.... i can't stop obsessing about my trip!!! i think what makes it worse is we leave on thursday for detroit (a 10 hr drive), have a family wedding on saturday - then we finally leave for disney on sunday! my oldest son is w/ my mom in the detroit area, so on top of obsessing about disney, i'm totally missing my son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today dd & i packed a mock bag to take into the parks... and i'm getting things ready to mail us a package tomorrow to our resort! i pick up my specially ordered white t's tomorrow to do our iron ons (they didn't turn out as nice on the original colored shirts i bought) and i couldn't find plain white t's anywhere... but i live in a super small town, we only have a very tiny jcpenney, walmart, shopko, & pamida!

ugh.... can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel! I am also leaving on sunday and feel like there are a million things to do before we drive down that morning. Hopefully having stuff to do and having these boards to read we will be able to get down sooner than it seems.

I'm obsessing like crazy! We have 2 months, 2 weeks and 1 day.. I think? Oh, I don't even know. I can't get off of all these Disney sites! Just look at how prepared we'll all be thanks to all the time we've spent reading!

I"m glad I"m not alone! Our trip is ds6 wish trip and was only booked on thursday, and we leave in 18 days, never been to wdw, so trying to learn everything I can as quick as I can. I"m close to 100 posts in 3 weeks, so I've been asking lots of questions. We're also going to see family this weekend, only about a 3.5 hour ride, so I"'m hoping that will get the kids used to traveling again, as we haven't been in a vehicle that long since the holidays, and have never been on a plane!! My husband keeps telling me I need therapy, so you're not alone!

We leave in exactly 3 weeks, which is right after our wedding, talk about a melt down. On top of all that it will be my DH first visit to the world, so I am trying to make everything perfect, which is not working out well

I have about 6 months or so....and I have my binder full, a box with stuff to take, magnets run off, mousekeeping tip envelopes made, my airline tickets bought to get to WDW, money on my Disney Reward card, clothes pressed and waiting to be put in a suitcase, so now who is obsessing????

I've been obsessing over my trip since June and I still have 218 days left. I have a binder filled with papers from touringplans.com. I'm ready to pack now, but I kind of need my clothes for the next 7 months. lol My mom and DBF are sick of me talking about the trip since I've talked their ears off for the last month or so.

You are NOT the only one. I think my family and friends are tried of hearing about plans I made/changed/thinking about. Esp. my sis who knows CMs now working at Disney and was once a CM. I'm constantly picking her brain about my plans.

I have a countdown on a white board at my cube at work. I drew a big Mickey head so people can't mistake what it's for. the whiteboard is supposed to be for work reminders. lol Not for me though! I am thinking of changing the drawing of Mickey to a different character each week until we leave. I have 63 days and counting!!! Woo Hoo!

I obsess and I think im starting to get on DF's nerves. I said to him the other day. On Sept. 27 we will be down to 89 days. He asked me if that is what im giong to be doing all the time and he had a serious face on so I guess he doens't want me doing that.

So we are down to 92 days, which lands on Christmas day so if you haven't started yet there are only that many days until Christmas. But Jan. 4 we will be getting married, so besides the trip im excited about the wedding.

Then we start another count down because we are going down again in Feb. My daughter has 2 weeks off school and thought we should go again. Plus we drive it so it saves us a ton of money.

We have just booked for August 2011 (over 300 days to go!!!!) and we have already worked out our plan of what park to visit when....... it will have been 2 years since our last trip and we will have so much to do..... I read lots of posts when planning our last visit but thought I would actually register this time and 'chat' to fellow Disney addicts!

I think chatting with other dis'ers is a good idea. I know it was for me. You can get more info when you start to interact.

I am looking at next Dec. dates to see which day would be the best to leave as we usually go the beginning of Dec. My family has been lucky to be able to visit every year so far and even get married there in Jan. We are now down to 75 days I am glad there is a place where I can come and chat with other addicts.

I am the same way.Our trip isnt until next JULY and it is a suprise from my 8 year old son.It is really hard when you cant even talk about it in front of him. My 15 year old dd knows (it was really her idea) I wanted to suprise both but couldnt keep my mouth shut lol plus dd has a friend going so had to tell them but dd thought we could still keep it from ds. I think she likes knowing something he doesnt. This is killing me. DH thought it was a bad idea at first but must have talked to someome who thought it would be fun because now he is on board. OK everyone have fun obsessing .
