i keep waking up every hour or so. Its starting to get me mad. I dont know what to do. My rooms a bedroom and photography studio combined (think big 8 ft desk on one wall, a large 3 foot desk on another and a big heater in the middle). My beds in the middle. Any advice on what to do? I cant move anything. Its a space issue.

What is that is waking you up? Something on your mind? The noise of the heater going on and off? Too hot? Too cold?

With a few more details, maybe we can make some suggestions..:goodvibes

Has your boyfriend noticed any strange breathing patterns? You could try using another pillow -- sometimes people wake up a lot because they are having breathing problems. If it's not a passing phase, that's something you could look into.

ive got no idea why im waking up, thats whats irratating. Im single; my roomate has the fieance.

Try eating something that causes drowsiness before bed: turkey; milk; oatmeal; and oatmeal cookie.. If all else fails, you could try one of the safe over-the-counter sleep medications..

Good luck! Sleep deprivation is not healthy (seriously) - and can cause dramatic changes in your personality (as well as making you physically ill).. If it continues to be a problem, I would see your doctor about it.. :)

Yes indeed, Ambien. And you'll wake up in the morning very refreshed. It's an amazing sleep aid.

Is that the one that they warn you about episodes of "eating, walking, and driving" while still asleep?

I considered asking my PCP about it (although my current medication works, I can't say I feel anything near "refreshed" in the morning), but the tv commercials scared me off..

That only happens sometimes if you take the Ambien and DONT LAY DOWN AND GO TO BED. Seriously. Some people take it and stay up to watch TV or whatever, because of the "good feeling" they get from it. They're basically in an asleep/awake state, and don't remember things they did whileunder the influence.

If you takw Ambien and go put your head on the pillow, you'll fall asleep and not wake up during the night unless someone/something wakes you up.

I got my Ambien from a psychiatrist, not a GP, because I had tons of questions, and this is what she told me. And I've never had any awake/asleep issues.

Do you know if it only comes in one standard dose? At 84 lbs. I don't want to hit the floor before I hit the bed and not wake up until 2 days later..:rotfl:

I know somebody hooked on ambien -- it's not pleasant to try to get off of. Avoid it if you can.

The ambien driving cases do seem to be cases where somebody took the pill "on their way home"... but the sleep eating (getting up and binging and not remembering the next day) and sleepwalking and sleep sex happen after the person has gone to bed for the night.

OMG, my family can tell all kinds of stories of things I say/do while under the influence of ambien. :lmao: It is an excellent sleeping pill, though and I like that I wake up refreshed and not groggy. :thumbsup2

BTW, OP, what in heck is the fieance??? :confused3
