Can't Plan for Baby? Better Plan for Disney! -- PTR

I'm glad to see you back! I'm sorry last cycle didn't work out. Hopefully this cycle will be it for you! I love your 2ww ticker! The longest 2 weeks ever!

I love the CRT updated! You have so many great pictures! :goodvibes

OMG! I found you! I have been thinking about you and realized I didn't sub into the PTR and I was wondering about you guys. Good luck this week!

That Belle was the same Belle we saw at 1900 Park Fare (Dec 2010) and she was the BEST! So kind and sweet to my daughter! I loved it!

I thought I had commented, but I guess I forgot to! Sorry to hear it wasn't this cycle. It will happen when the time is right.
Love the girls' expressions with the characters! So cute! My girls are the same way about wondering what the big deal is with the characters, but then they fall in love.

I know! That is the cutest thing ever! Only 6 days until we know whether or not this cycle worked! I am excited, because if we don't get pregnant we are taking some time off, and that is such a relief!

I am so glad to see you back here. I really will continue to pray that the remainder of your ttc journey is short and you get a bfp soon. That being said, I realize that this is a stressful time....and so  just in case you need one... and  to hold on to for a moment that you definitely do.

And.. your updates...

I love that the girls were not into the characters until they saw Cinderella. Such great photos of them. Interesting how different the princesses can be cast. Our Belle in December at CRT was much older than yours...

I am sorry you were not feeling well. Never fun to be sick while on vacation...especially when you have a special meal planned.

As for staying off site...

I agree with your dh... You could have been writing that for me... I drive all the time... don't want to drive on vacation. I like the flexibility of being able to leave part of the group behind (in the park or at the room) I just wish the transportation was a tad more reliable...time wise. And paying up front with the dp does take away the stress of how much something is or am I going to like this. There was a cupcake at DHS that dd got in December. Cutest little cupcake but it tasted HORRID. I would have felt so bad if we paid oop for it... but since it was off the dp.. some how it allowed me to be able to see that it was cute and neat to try yet not get stressed out when ultimately we chucked it into the nearest garbage can.

cant wait to read more popcorn::
Thanks for your comment! Thanks for the virtual hug and support! This Belle was great! I can't imagine an older Belle. I am going to have to go back and take a look at your TR, as I don't remember noticing that about her!

I completely agree with you about the stress and the DDP! I like being able to choose something that I haven't tried before and not have it be a "risk," so to speak!

Yes, it is the longest ever! Especially because I feel like I can't do anything, and I go a bit crazy! At least leading up to the IUI there are doctor appts, injections, etc.! It makes you feel as though you are actually accomplishing something! :rotfl:

Thanks for coming over! She is the best Belle! We were lucky enough to see here later that week at Epcot!

Dalmatian Movie Night!

For our first movie night, we decided to do 101 Dalmatians! Evan had never seen the movie, and I don’t think the kids had, either. We did this last August/September when we were planning a trip in October 2012.

I made several Dalmatian spots and hid them around the house. The kids had to find all of the spots. They found this pretty fun.

While they were doing that, I set up the table to make Dalmatian ears.

Each person colored their ears however they wanted. We then stapled the ears and headband together.

I love this picture of Sara. When she was born, she stuck out her tongue all the time! She still does it while coloring.

The finished product! We even made some for Benjamin. He was pretty excited, as you can see.

For dinner, we had chocolate chip pancakes (since they are spotted) and bacon (since dogs love bacon).

While Wendi/Doug made dinner, the kids and I decorated sugar cookies with M&Ms. They were round, like spots, and they were decorated with multicolored spots!

Let me just tell you. The frosting I made for these cookies was AMAZING. You had to eat 6 cookies at a time—you just couldn’t help yourself! I got the recipe from the America’s Test Kitchen Cookbook, which I highly recommend. Everything I have made out of that cookbook has been amazing!

After dinner we watched 101 Dalmatians. Evan really liked it, and I think the kids did too! I am pretty sure that Bryant got a little bored, though. He tends to check out of movies around the 40-minute mark. Anyway, he decided to color Dalmatian pictures for the rest of the movie.

First move night = success! We plan to do many more. The kids have never seen Dumbo, so that will probably be our next movie. We will make homemade corn dogs (as I have heard they are really good), eat popcorn, and get some cotton candy for dessert.

What a cute movie night! I keep saying I'm going to do another movie night, but never do. Before next trip for sure!
I just realized I have never seen 101 Dalmations!!:scared1:
Too funny about Sara sticking her tongue out. Emily had her tongue sticking out when she was born and we met her for the first time.
I hope this cycle works out for you. Even if it doesn't, it will be nice to take some time off.:cloud9:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Movie night looks AWESOME! I might have to steel an idea or two from you on that. :goodvibes The dog ears... chocolate chip pancakes. :thumbsup2

Dalmatian movie night looked like a lot of fun and made me hungry. LOL

Cute movie night!

I've never seen 101 Dalmations. All I know is, Cruella Deville is possibly the cruelest Disney villian ever! What kind of person wants to kill puppies??

Looking forward to hearing how this month's cycle went! Hoping for a baby ticker!!:goodvibes

Yes, it was a lot of fun... and super cheap! I would like to do a night where we eat food and learn about all of the Epcot countries, but I want to find videos of the countries explaining the culture as part of it. I want them kid-oriented, so I am still looking for DVDs.

Thanks! Makes me hungry as well!

Cute movie night!

Cruella Deville is awesome! And the two humans are super cute together, as are the married Dalmatians.

Looking forward to hearing how this month's cycle went! Hoping for a baby ticker!!:goodvibes
