...if I called to try to make the ADR? Do you think there's any chance that the CM's at the call center have any different availability than what I can find online? Sometimes I've called and they didn't have what I could pull up through the system.

What do you think?

I have always made my adr's by phone. I call with my spreadsheet, and then am able to see all our options. Plus its like talking with the mouse. :goodvibes

Twice i had found no openings online and just showed up at Yak and Yeti and was able to get in with in 10 mins.

We may try that. We have a party of 7, though, so it might be a bit tougher. :(

I can make 2 ADRs by splitting our group 5/2, but I'd really like us all to be together.

We've had several meals at Yak & Yeti where we "walked up". We've only ever done this at opening though. In fact we've never been turned away - even in the middle of July. I don't know if they run things different - I'm not sure they are Disney operated - or what, but its worth a shot. I'd keep trying for and ADR as well.

Keep trying. I would try first thing in the am and just before phone line close or check late at night on line. People are always changing their plans. I would also focus my efforts at 45days out (date officail final payment due) 30 days out (the date you can get an extention for payment if you dont have $ 45 days out), 8 days out because many finalize plans the day before they arrive, the night before and a few hour before because this is when people realize that they cant or dont want to make their ressie. Understanding how pople think increases your chances.

Good luck!

With the other Landry's restaurants, you can call them directly, but not for Y&Y, because it is inside a theme park. Any restaurant inside a Disney theme park can be reserved onlly through Disney's reservation system.

The phone agents are using the same system you use when you book online.

If you are trying for dinner, there's a much smaller window of time open, because AK closes so much earlier than the other parks.

we just came back last week, it was consider busy season, we couldn't get adr for the time we wanted it was for lunch and they only had availability at 3 or so, we walked up at around 12 and they took us in, it seem that the people ahead of us and the people behind us were also all walk ups. We had book all of our adr ahead of time but there were resturants we couldn't get into like Crystal Palace we walked up twice and they took us in. At Le Cellier we had such a good lunch so later that week we walked up and they took us in as well, maybe just a 5min wait, actually shorter wait than when we had adrs

Maybe this is happening more as people double bokking and rudely dont cancel.
