DD#1 belongs to a number (many actually!) of sites where she's sent samples of products and asked to review them. Back in November, she was asked to rate and review the Keurig coffee brewer - I know, right? Anyway, she got the coffee brewer and vouchers for 16 boxes of coffee, tea, cocoa and/or cider (24 cups per box), to be ordered over a period of a year. She gave the machine to her sister (a huge coffee drinker) for Christmas and they both absolutely love it. (DD#1 is a tea-drinker - they share a house and use of the Keurig.)

Fast forward to the beginning of January: I got an e-mail from this site asking if I would be interested in this same deal! Well, yes! I registered and selected the flavors of my first four boxes of K-cups, which arrived within the week. My Keurig arrived today, and they upgraded the model they sent me to top of the line! My only obligation is to fill out a form once a week noting how many cups of coffee/tea/cider/cocoa I drank that week!

Unfortunately, the site prohibits me from naming it, but I just had to post this! On the chance some of you receive this offer through one of your money-saving sites, it is legitimate and a HUGE score. DD#1 figured her model machine and all the K-cups she's getting would cost in excess of $600; mine would probably be about $800 total. SCORE!!!!!!

Sounds really great!! And I second the question about the PM....lol Please let me know if you can. :)

I'm sorry, I really can't reveal it in any manner; apparently it's an "invitation only" deal. I asked DD#1 if she had given them my name, but she hadn't. Maybe they got it from my membership here!

It's kind of pointless to inform anybody of the DEAL if you are not allowed to reveal the name of the company in any form. I don't buy it.

There's no way the company would know if you PM the name of the establishment to others.

I was just curious of the name because it get emails for thoes offers ever so while and I thought it was to good to be true. Guess there is a real one out there. I still don't want to try one to find out if it bad.

So how did she review it if she gave it away as a gift?

Most of those are indeed scams just to get your information, a little surprised the OP and one of her DD's would be getting a Keurig since they are pretty well established and all...

Once I got an HP Printer (new model that had not been released to market) and a bunch of inks to test, was suppose to send it back, but they later said to just keep it. Though I don't remember the company that did it.

wish there was a thumbs up/down for posts like on slick deals.

if you can't post anything at all about it, why on earth bother.

seems fishy.

My thoughts exactly! Keurig has no reason to send out current product models, they are well known and selling quite well. I am a product tester and the products I get are new or something already out there that a change has been made to.
I'm with most of the other posters here, don't get the point of the post :confused3

I posted it so that if anyone else got the invitation, they would know it was not a scam and is a legitimate offer, and because this is my first big budget score and I wanted to shout it from the rooftops!

As a follow-up, the Osceola Extra section of today's Orlando Sentinel has an article on "Cashing in on free samples." I checked the Sentinel's web page to see if I could link it, but today's paper hadn't been posted yet.

The sidebar to the story is fairly short, so I'll insert it here:

"You often have to fill out online screening surveys lasting 5-10 minutes, or answer questions on the phone or both, to find out if you qualify for a trial. You can add your name to research firms' databases through the sites below:

Pays cash only:
Delve. www.delve.com/respondent/consumer.asp

MindField Online. www.mindfieldonline.com/register

WolfGroup. www.wolfsurvey.com

Pays other rewards:
Bzzagent. www.bzzagent.com/signup/Signup.do

MySurvey. www.mysurvey.com (paper says they are not currently accepting new signups, but worth trying or bookmarkiing)

CVS Advisor Panel. www.cvsadvisor.com/Home.gray.aspx"

On a lighter note, one company want parents to try various diapers and SAVE and BRING IN a week's worth of soiled diapers in zip-lock bags so they can be examined by researchers! EEEEEWWWW! This company pays a bit more (as they should!) This company isn't identified in the article.

I apologize for annoying some of you by not being able to post the name of the site. You could google Keurig product testing...? I hope these links are helpful and that everyone gets lots of free goodies!

:woohoo:that is great! DH also got the same thing and yes it is true. No, he cannot share the link as it is by invit only however he does get asked for referrals. They have not as of yet sent an invite out to the couple of folks we referred though. It is pretty cool

Well I am currently enroll in that program too so is my sister. It is a product survey by Keurig. I actually got a call from them yesterday about some issue I post on the website. But it is legit. The accepting new member is over a while ago. But it likes a testing market kinda thing. I got my machine last Decemeber, and my 4 months of supply already. My sister just got her machine and coffee.

Thank you ladies, for confirming my original post. I don't know who referred me, but I'm grateful! I haven't been invited to refer anyone yet.

I'm going up to DC in about three weeks to work for four months, so I kept all the packing material so I can ship it up there and enjoy it in my hotel. DH will appreciate not having to go to the lobby for coffee or having to make a whole pot just for a cup.

I lead such a sad little life - this is the most exciting thing to happen to me in ages!:rotfl2:
