Can't decide

As of now, I have 2 reservations for dining the day we do Epcot. I have heard of people cancelling the one the day of the reservation. I am still undecided as to what we want to do. Neither is a place that's completely booked. How soon/late do you all cancel your reservations if you have more then 1 for the same day?
I know people will probably flame me for this, and I'm not putting this out there to get involved in an argument. I'm still 30+ days out and I should know within a week as to what we definately want to do. is 3-4 weeks to little time to cancel?

Seriously no one can flame you. Disney lets you do this, so by all means DO IT! Just please post before you cancel LOL ... especially for those like me that are dying for just ONE ressie

Seriously, though, if you are planning on canceling at all, I would applaud you. I hear from Disney all the time that about 40% of people don't show and don't cancel!

As soon as you can cancel do. Just as long as you do at some point, someone will be thankful to get it.

I think as long as you cancel before you get there it would be fine. Then the person who gets your reservation at the last minute will be loving you! I know I have been at the park and wanted to eat at a restaurant and happened to be standing there when someone called in and cancelled. It showed up on the screen when the CM was checking and we got in. I was very happy for that person who cancelled!!

If you were going to get flamed for 3-4 weeks out, I'd get it even worse. I have 17 ADR's for 7 days, and I'm going next week. That being said, I WILL cancel the ones I don't need soon (and will post in the August cancellation thread first to see if anyone here wants them).

Unfortunately, you're going too late for almost all of them. The only one I have that late is Biergarten on the 29th, and that's no big deal, since ADR's are still available there directly from WDW Dining.

On a separate note, I posted the first 2 "soon to be cancelled" in the August cancel thread (1900 Park Fare and Akershus both on 8/22)
