Can't decide - MK on Sun or Mon?

Right now I'm planning on going to MK on a Mon in Apr. I've got a PS for Liberty Tree for lunch, but now that I've read that MK is really crowded on a Mon. I'm wondering if I should switch my PS to Sun. However Sun is EMH day which I figured would be even more crowded. (We're offsite so can't do the EMH). Please help me decide what would be the best to do since I would need to change my PS. Thanks!

I feel your pain

I am just reading the Unofficial Guide (Becasue the Passporter and Birnbaum's just weren't enough ) And I think based on what I have read you should stick with Monday. They are really recommending avoiding the patks with EMH if you cannot get there for the early entry. Even if you can get there they recommend only staying until the park starts to get crowded and then heading for another park.

From the info Ive gathered Monday would be the lesser of 2 evils but will still be busy. Ive read that Wednesday is the best day to go to MK with Friday as a close second. I will be trying this strategy out in 2 weeks. (yah!!) Good Luck!!

I guess I'll stick with Mon. and stop second guessing myself. I'm planning on doing MK twice during our week, probably Fri. so hopefully in two days we can get everything done. Thanks for the advice!

We usually do MK on Tues & Fri and this usually works out great. Ia msure you can change your PS with no problem.GL.

During any busier season, I would go to MK on a Monday.
We were there yesterday afternoon (Sunday) and it was VERY busy even then.

It seems like Magic Kingdom is getting busier all the time. I made the mistake of going to MK on a Saturday (about a year before 9/11) It was INSANE . Wall to wall people, especially in Tomorrowland. and that was in October. If the regulars are saying Sunday and Thursday are worse, then I would definately avoid those days except for Jan and Feb. It's so difficult because historically Monday has been a big day, since so many people fly in on Sunday and the first park they want to go to is MK. We're running out of days of the week.

I think Disney needs to consider a major expansion of MK rather than new theme parks. It appears to me that the more parks they make, the busier MK gets .

That sounds like a great plan. I would just go when you plan on going and not worry about it anymore.
