I've only been to Whispering Canyon before, other than that everything has been counter service meals.

I'm dying to try something new and my wife is taking me for my birthday this year!! :cool1:

She got the dining plan for the 3 nights 4 days that we're staying, and since she's planning she planned out little surprises for the some of the TS's and let me pick a restaurant for one of them.

I don't know what to pick!

I have Ohana's, Boma, and Le Cellier in mind but if there is anything else I absolutely must try then can you guys tell me?! :)

I get only one shot and I want to make it a good one. :thumbsup2 Thanks

Those are great choices, check out California Grill (Contemporary) if a dinner show is an option then you must check out the Aloha Show at the Poly. There is the restaurant above France but I can't remember the name!
Have fun!!

If you are looking to use just 1TS, then I would do Le Cellier. If you don't mind using 2TS credits, then Narcoossee's or Citricos at the Grand Floridian.

Have a great birthday!:goodvibes

I understand your situation. For years, my family used to dine at WCC, and then a few years ago, my DBF and I decided to venture out to find new experiences!

If you like fish and pasta, and want to use only 1 TS for a meal that you can't have anywhere outside of Disney, I would try booking Lunch or Dinner at Princess Storybook Dining at Restaurant Akershus located at Norway in Epcot. It's not just for kids, and they have plenty of tables for two. My DBF (30) and I (28) love the look of this restaurant because it looks like the inside of a castle, and the price includes a cold buffet AND a warm sit-down meal... it's a lot of delicious food! We always leave stuffed, and the Norwegian waiters are very friendly.

(He agrees) it is very exciting to see what princesses will show up to greet you during the meal. We do not have kids, but we personally prefer the princesses, because they can talk to us (unlike the face characters).

We live in downtown Chicago, so there are plenty of fine dining options where we live. However, there is nothing like a meal with Princesses stopping by, which you can only experience at Disney. It's magical.

I would pick LeCellier. Personally, we found WCC overrated and my DH actually got sick on the skillet. We are trying Boma's next year, and we have never done Ohanas so we are no help there. Here is my recent review of LeCellier with pictures (scroll about halfway down the page of the link):

Le Cellier, Coral Reef, or Rose and Crown if you get a 7:30 seating and see Illuninations. San Angle for the atmosphere. Also Spoodles we liked this Sept.
