Our family had the Best time during our time at the World. We always arrived early (20min before park opening), and never on an early entry day, since we stayed off site at Orange Lake Country Club. Our commute was only about 8 to 12 mins to any park. We had no waits on any rides for the first 2 to 3 hours in the parks. At MGM, we walked onto the Tot, and the Rock & Roll Coaster. Infact, on the second time we rode it, my son and I were saying how great the ride was to the CM, he told us to go through the door to the left, not the main exit. We walk down the short hallway and it lead right back onto the ride, another CM outside the door put us right back on the coaster, awesome!!! The weather was great except for 12/8, it rained most of the day, but I had decided to take the day off from the parks anyway. We did 2 Char. meals, Crystal Palce, and Garden Grill. Got our free 5x7 picture at Epcot West Innovations using the Disney Visa. The highlight for me was the Osbourne Lights and Illuminations. I had planned for just about a year for this trip using the "Unofficial Guide Book", it worked out great. I did return to the airport and found my Tahoe had a dead battery, one of my son's left a dome light on. Besides that, everything went beautifully. We even stopped over at the Grand Floridian to see the giant gingerbread house. My boys also flipped out over the Disney Quest, we hit it 4 times during our stay. We also did Typhoon Lagoon on 12/4, perfect weather that day. Our rooms at Orange Lake were great. Again nothing but good things to say about our time. Thanks for all the input on this board over the past year. We hope to go back again sometime next year.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Merry Christmas to you too!!! Was this your first visit? Did you rent a car or was there transportation from the hotel? We stayed on property last time and probably will use points at BWV (which during our stay will be $90 per night) so wondering if you've ever stayed on property before. Glad you had a wonderful time! :cheer2:

This was our first trip as a family. We spent our Honeymoon at Disney in 1990 and stayed at CRB. We did rent a car, I rented from Dollar at the airport. I paid for a compact and used a coupon to get upgraded to a midgrade. I was told there were no midgrades available, so they gave me a Dodge minivan. It cost me a total with all fees and taxes , $227 for 10 days. I filled it up one time, the night before I took it back to the airport. I put a total of 337 miles on it. I'm now trying to sort through well over 500 digital pictures, croping, enhancing. ect. I looked at all my photopass pictures today online, for the most part they all stunk. My little Nikon Coopix took much better pictures than the Disney photographers. :wizard:
