I wanted to be able to take better concert pictures and it sure appears that this is the right camera for that! I am so happy right now; there are just no words.
I can't believe she gave me such a wonderful gift!

Now I get to join this thread and soon I'll be posting my pictures here!
I got the Canon S5 camera. I need battery help. ...
Is it better to get recharable batteries? Which ones do you recommend?
I also neeed a memory card. Which is best?
I use energizer 2500mAh rechargables. And all of my memory cards 4 of them are Sandisk 2GB ultra II SD cards. I like always having the ultra ll's since i take lots of short videos of the grandkids.
I hope the AUTO mode will be good enough for now, because all these options are making my eyes bleed.
Got my S5 two days ago and have been plowing through the manual and taking practice shots. Some come out great, some come out... well, they don't. I think I need to start taking notes so that I'll remember what each mode does.
The photos that turned out great are really amazing. The detail is so much more than I expected! Now I can't wait to try shooting a water drop like I saw in this thread many pages ago.
But like I said, right now my eyes are bleeding. Time for a break.
Do I need to have a Snapfish account to insert a photo? Or can I just add it to this window by clicking Insert Image? Sorry, I haven't done this before.![]()
