I asked Santa for a S5 IS, and I'm happily on my third day of playing with it! I've lurked at this thread for a while and just got to say that you guys need to get a commision...![]()
So I had heard about the lens cap being a pain before I bought it, but I never imagine that it would fall off when I LOOK at it wrong...
Just got back from a trip to The World. Here are a few of the 400 pics I took with my S3.

These two are my favorite. I love the castle like that! And that waterfall is just perfect..
After lots of trials and errors and wanting to throw the camera out the window I'm finally getting some fairly good shots. But it's not easy, I tell ya! I have to give you all credit for taking some of the most beautiful photos I've seen.
Anyway, here's my next attempt. The tree is still up and it's the only thing worth photographing right now.

Ghost1000 - Those are great pics!!!! Did you customize your settings or use auto? Flash or no flash? (Talking about the night show at the castle)
Question: When I upload my pics for developing, no matter what photo developer I use, they crop my pictures too close. I guess that digital pics are square, and they get cropped into a rectangular shape. Is there a way to resolve this? (Sorry to seem dumb if everyone knows that but me).![]()
You need to use a place that understands digital photos. Dotphoto, for example, has a special print size they use, and there are small white bars on the side, but your whole picture is on the print. It's not quite a 4x6.
