Canon PowerShot A650 IS 12.1MP

My sister told me to look into this camera just wanted to see what all of you thought about it. I really want to be able to talk good pics with the ability to take action shots and low light shots.

Although this looks like a good P&S, it still has the small sensor of a P&S (it's only .29in x .22in as opposed to and SLR with runs about .89in x .59in). You will still run into issues getting good low-light shots using anything less than an SLR camera and even then you need fast lenses.

my daughter has an earlier a model and imo it does surprisingly well in low lite situations...( comparing it to other daughter's kodak)
