candy for the troops

My kids want to send their Halloween candy to the troops over seas. How do I get information to send it there?
any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks

You could select a group from www.anysoldier.com. It will let you read requests from actual troops and you can get their address as well.

Dont send anything that will melt - chocolate, candy corn, etc....

Isn't it going to start to get cold over there very soon? Wouldn't it be alright to send chocolate and such then?

I guess it doesn't matter to much if you can't send chocolate... and such, there are so many different kinds of candies these days!

They also love to get the kool-aid single packs!

You can still send the chocolate --- it is still hot but not summer hot over there. Or pick Afghanistan, where it is starting to get cold.

The troops (I am one, and was the recipeint of lots of "any soldier" boxes) like to get candy but also the drink mixes, pop tarts, travel paks of kleenexes, movies, books, snacks like "special" pretzels...we even got a huge box of ladies gloves for all the women in my unit!
