I saw that on one of the wedding shows on TLC. Cool idea but not everyone likes potatoes..... They were served in a martini glass on the show I saw.
These are all gorgeous. Especially like the graduation one because it was real life.
But, quick question - with all this candy, don't you run the risk of having all your guests groaning and holding their tummies after awhile?
I don't know if I could resist temptation on trying everything.
Is there a pepto bismal table also?![]()

I have an entire rubbermaid tote full that I am trying to unload! I can't believe it, we had about 250 people, and still have leftover candy. I guess I couldn't convince everyone to really load up!That looks amazing!!!!! Do you have any left over that you want to share?![]()

Candy tables are so 2009 now
Actually here in NY where I run a large hotel and catering facility, they were big last year, but not so much in 2010.

waughzee --congrats on your son's graduation. The pics are fantastic as are the tables of candy! Would appreciate anyone's input on some of the printed up "sayings/poems, etc" that go along with these tables. Thanks
You are so creative!

We do about 100 wedding a year at my place and this years big hit..
Mash potatoe bar.. Yeah go figure..
It is funny seeing all the brides doing the same thing for about a year and the switch to whatever the hot trend it. Times change, but people don't
The sweet 16's still do the candy though.
A wedding I went to had a lot of small quotes/sayings scattered throughout the bowls of candy. Some cute ones:
"Too much of a good thing is wonderful" - Mae West
"Sweets and chocolates to put in your pockets"
For a wedding: "Love is like chocolate - so much sweeter when shared."
"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt" - Charles M Schulz
