Holy cow I want a Cadbury Crunchie really bad right now! They are not so easy to come by in my neck of the woods and whenever I see them in specialty shops they are soooo expensive for a candy bar, usually between 3 - 5 dollars a piece!:scared: They are super good but hard to justify that price when plain old chocolate is 50 cents in Walmart. Oh well I still wish I had one now :(

Ooooo, I do love a crunchie!!

Every Friday is crunchie day, so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow :goodvibes

If you want one that bad, I say go and treat yourself over the weekend :)

Know the feeling with foods from you lot!
But if you really fancy one, go hunt them down and get one! It'll be worth it. :thumbsup2

do you want me to send you over a pack?

do you want me to send you over a pack?

No that's ok I just have to do what the others said and go get one and suck it up on the price! My friends mother in law lives in Ireland and sends them to her all the time, maybe I'll see if she has any.:)

Wow I just have to say how nice everyone is on the UK board! So many offers to ship me some candy bars and expecting nothing in return. I guess I'm not used to people being so nice to complete stangers. If anyone would like anything sent out to them don't hesitate to ask!:flower3:

im sure we could all think of a list of things we love, starting with those reeces marshmallowy things...yummy:goodvibes

Oh ok now I know. I haven't seen those in awhile, I don't think they really took off :confused3 I can't imagine why cause pretty much anything made by reese is good!

oh thats a shame, not a great fan of hersheys but love reeces:goodvibes
we can get pieces and cups and nutrageous here...if we look hard enough;)
cant you get cadburys in costco in the US?

Yes we have cadburys but only certain kinds. The crunchies, flake and some others I have only seen in Irish import stores. There are alot of those stores in Chicago but I am about a 45 drive outside of the city so my options are limited. The Costcos here pretty much only have American food, sadly.:sad2: Not a big fan of Hersheys either but there is a local chocolate that is to die for, it's Fannie Mae and it's out of this world! Maybe I'll go get some of that until I can get my hands on a crunchie.

I'd be more than happy to post a few packs across or any of our other ones :) The only things I'd want in return, I'm sure they would melt......

DOLE WHIPS!

Or some of those nice M&Ms.... the gourmet ones!

while not as good, you could always make your own

just mix sugar and golden syrup together in a pan and heat it till its foaming and about to burn, take it off the heat. then add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and stir like crazy,
pour into something to cool/harden then coat in chocolate.

Dole Whips are so yummy I would like one of those too! We will be in Orlando in a couple weeks but not going to Disney so I can't have one. I think they also have them at the Polynesian:confused3 maybe we'll have to go over there. I've never had the fancy m&ms but they look really good, we are going to check out M&M world in Orlando I just might have to give them a try!

I'm currently going through Cheetos Crunchy withdrawal. It's almost as bad as my Disney withdrawal.
I miss them so much... :headache:
