Hi ladies!:) I know there was a candle thread a while back, but I can't seem to find it. So I was wondering if anyone knows if you can supply your own candles and candle holders at the reception and dessert party??? (Instead of renting from Disney) Of course, I understand you'll have to set up yourself...but can you bring your own candles to BOTH reception and dessert party at Epcot?? Also, as I recall, they will limit the amount of candles you can have per table due to firecode standards, but if you used electronic candles, there's no limit, right?? Any help would be much appreciated!!! THANKS SO MUCH!! :goodvibes

From what I understand you can have four real candles on the tables but as long as your reception is in a location that you can decorate yourself I think you can bring as many fake candles that you want but you have to set it up yourself. At the dessert party locations you can not decorate yourself because it is in a public area. So I do not think you can bring any of the stuff yourself.

Thank you Ann117! I think that is what I remember as well..... Anyone else w/ comments, suggestions, or previous experiences w/ candles for decorating the tables?? THANKS in advance!! :goodvibes

We are having our reception at the White Hall room. We are allowed to have 4 "units" of candles. So we have the main centerpiece which is a triple cylinder with floating candles(1 in each) and that is tied together with a ribbon to make it one unit. Then we have 3 more "units" that consist of 3 votives each. So we will actually have 12 candles on the table. Real not electric.

Personally I would safe the time and hassle and let Disney do the candles. They are not expensive at all. It was actually a great price and one less thing I had to worry about. It wouldn't have saved me much money if I brought that stuff in myself. The whole set up is costing me not even $50.
