Candlelight Processional

I just made ressies for Dec candlelight proc, But now I'm having second thoughts. My DS is 9 and my DD is 7 and I'm not sure if they are going to like this or not ? anyone else take younger children there ? any and all feedback and/or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you'll have a problem, but it really depends on whether your children would like a program consisting mainly of choir and orchestra type music.

My DSs are 8 and 5 and I'm going to (hopefully) make Candlelight Dinner ressies. I've seen the CP before and loved it! My DH and DSs loved it, too -- and the DSs were even younger then. But, I guess it could depend on the kiddos. . .

I guess that it does depend on your kids and what they like. My kids are 6 and 8 and we will be going for the first time this year. They love music so this will be right up their alley.

TAKE THE KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went when my two were 5 and 9 and they enjoyed it. It is truely an unbelievable experience. You won't be disappointed.

We have taken our 2 DD's since they were less than 3 and they have always loved it! When they were real small they sometimes fell asleep, I have no idea how as it is a bit loud.

I think if you explain to the kiddos that the CP will not have Santa or Frosty. Just the true Christmas story. Do they enjoy Christmas carols? If yes, they should enjoy this production.

My kids ages 6, 10,11,12 last year loved it...but it is the Christmas story....

I agree with the others, it depends on your kids.

I know my kids, when they were your kid's ages, would have been bored out of their minds.

DH & I did it, last year, and to be honest, we were pretty bored and left before it was over.
