Candlelight Processional

Got up at 6am to be at work before 7am to make the call. Called right at 7am, got right through to be told that due to technical difficulties, the CP packages would not be released until tomorrow. Was not sure if this was 100% accurate, so called back, say on hold for 15 minutes, to be told the same thing. Did ask about the TBA speakers and was told that it was still TBA.

Both CM's said they should be released tomorrow.

Oh well, guess it's up early again tomorrow.

One more thing. The CM's also confirmed that all meals for the CP packages are going to be PRIOR to the show, instead of after. For the 5pm show, it will be "lunch" around 2pm. For the 6:45pm, around 4pm & for the 8:15pm, around 5pm.

I got the same thing. The CM didn't know why they were delayed a day. He said he was being flooded with calls though.

When I did get thru I spoke with Mandy who said that the postponing was probably due to the fact that they do not have speakers for "an early segment in December & until that is taken care of it cannot be released". Who knows if that is true, but that's what she said. Told to try back tomorrow!

The CM I spoke to said the same exact thing!

Yes, this was posted in another thread and taken from the CM portal last week.

No. The show is 40 minutes long. Then you have to walk to the front of Epcot, get on the monorail, switch to the resort monorail, go almost the whole way around the loop, get off and walk to CF. All this in only 30 minutes. Also CM is not one of the restuarants included in the CP package, so you would have to stand really early in the stand-by line and hope you get into the show.

Oh, thanks! I was planning on the lunch package at San Angel. But, now I read that we would have to have lunch at 2:00. And then our dinner ressies with other family members at 6:10 at Chef Mickey's. I think this is too much.
I guess with this info I will skip out on the CP. I don't think my DS8 would be thrilled to sit through the show anyway. :goodvibes
 
Although there is a bit of me that wants to say "UGH!!!!!", I guess I kind of knew after reading last night's posts that this morning was unlikely. I called anyway, and got the same results as everyone else, but I wanted to make sure! Oh well, things could be worse ... I live in Minnesota, and so got up at 5:00am to be ready by 6:00 (7:00 eastern), not knowing how long I'd be on hold, but ... it's a beautiful day in Northern Minnesota, I got an early start on my morning walk, and an extra cup of coffee before work. AND, at least I don't live on the west coast and up at 4:00! Luck to us tomorrow!!!
 
I feel really sorry for all the CMs on the phone today. This entire thing this year has just not been handled well at all.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be the day.

My fear is that they will release them during the day and not at 7 am.

I got up early and called yesterday too - just in case. Well, I guess I'll get up early again tomorrow. :confused3

My DW called at 7 am and called a second time and was told that CP packages were delayed by a day and would be available tomorrow.
 
I called this morning too and was told that the CP packages are delayed a day. I guess I'lll call tomorrow. This is our first time to the CP and we are really excited!! :cool1: :cool1:
 
Thanks everyone for confirming that they are delayed until tomorrow. I so didn't want to get up at 4 am today plus I'm on vacation. So tomorrow better be the day!!!
 
What a pain! I also called, got through right away and was told tomorrow, but tried again and had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before getting someone to confirm it. UGH!
 
Can someone please tell me, if you're on the Dining Plan, can you reserve a CP and not be charged for it??

I could have sworn that Deb covered this on her website,AllEarsNet, but now I can't find it..I thought she stated that you CAN use the Dining Plan for the CP Dinner Packages. We're hoping to use the DP on the CP this year as well.....if they EVER release the reservations!!!
