Candlelight Processional with deluxe dining plan?

We booked lunch and 5:00 show for the Candlelight Processional. They told me it wasn't available on dining plan credits if we decide to add the deluxe dining plan. I called back and was told the same thing (WDW-DINE). We have Les Chef de France booked. Has anyone else heard this? I'd hate to add the deluxe and then pay OOP for CP pkg! Thanks!

I certainly hope not. We just upgraded to deluxe and were not told that was the case....if you find out more, please post your answer!!

if you booked the CP without a dining plan, any dining plan then I can understand what the CM is saying. I believe at the time of booking the CP you need to be on the DP, if you want it to count towards that package.

You may be able to cancel the first reservation and book again with DP when you decide about it.

The dining plan is just how you pay for the CP, theres no availibility issues. You can book it without and then add the DDP later without any problems, you wont need to cancel it at all

Thanks so much. That's what I thought. I guess I was thrown b/c 2 CRO agents and one DVC agent all told me NO Dining Plan w/CP. The fourth agent said that it was ok to use it so I will go ahead and add the deluxe plan for that portion of the trip since our lunch is around 45! Thanks everyone!
