So we know that CP packages will be released in July. Will there be advance notice so we know what day to call? I'm sure they'll be posts here about it, but will Disney announce this in advance?

Does anyone who has scored a LeCelier CP Package in the past want to divulge your strategy? Best to do by phone, or online (if that's possible)? We are going Christmas week and I "need" (ok, want) a package somewhere between 12/20-12/22.

I would love to know the answer to this question as well. Anyone out there with an answer?

i'm pretty sure it will have to be booked by phone. I plan on checking the website every morning to see when reservations will be opened for the package so I can be on the phone at 7 am!

Just be prepared to be on hold a really long time. I think I called the lst day last year. I am glad I didnt want Le Cellier.

I was very quick, but polite and specific

Candelight Package
Date
Restaurant
Show Time
Credit Card in Hand

Got exactly what we wanted - Chefs de France, 6:45 show
I did have a backup plan rest. and date just in case.

Looking for the same thing. Have a backup plan, I cant even get Lecellier for any time my days at Epcot that week. I think I was able to do it online last year, but I started looking the moment it opened. There were backups dropped calls and I didnt get Lecellier. Good Luck:confused3

We got Le Cellier last year for Christmas Eve CP.
Call at 7am the day it is opened for reservations.
Be prepared to be on hold. Last year I was on hold for over an hour.

So can you book it online? If so do you use the same website as you do for booking regular ADRs?

If you have to call, what is the number? Is it 407-WDW-DINE?

I don't think they offered it to book online last year. I called. Have your credit card ready. They don't charge it at the time of booking, but they hold your number in case you don't show up.
It's the regular Disney dining number. :goodvibes

Will Disney give any warning as to when they will open up reservations? The website just says "in July" ...??

If I have an ADR for one of the nights I happen to get the CP package, can I just switch that reservation from a regular ADR to the package price? Basically keeping the same time, but purchasing the package for the CP.

There will be advanced notice on when they will start taking reservations for the CP. Last year it wasn't until the end of August but they have the narrators earlier than they did last year.

I called at 7am on the day they started booking these. I waited on hold for about a half hour and was able to get Le Cellier for the 8:15 show on the day I wanted.

I don't believe if you already have a reservation they will convert it. They purposely hold reservations for the CP and open up the rest of the time slots for non-CP guests.

Thanks for the info! Now just to wait like the rest of the world for the day to call. This is our first time for the CP and cannot wait. I will be happy with whatever date we get, I know it is going to be difficult, as we are going 12/21 thru 12/29.

No.
