Candlelight processional package

Hi guys...quick question. Wanted to know you're experiences/answers. I know the reservation system has changed, but I thought I had a simple question and I can't get a consistent answer from a CM.

The Package goes on sale next week. I'm going to be in BWV starting 12/28. I can't book my meal reservations until July 1. Can I book the CPP next week or do I have to wait until July 1, the 180 day date? Anyone know the right answer or do I just need to get up early and try it?

I was told 180 date by a CM when I called.

I would think that when they go on sale, the 180 day rule does not apply. There is usually pandemonium for the first few hours when they go on sale. Any time that I have purchased them, I get them the day they go on sale. I cant see why they would change the policy.

You have two options if you want to see the Candlelight Processional:
1. You can wait in the Stand-By line and hope to get a seat.
2. Disney offers dinner packages which gets you into the America Gardens Theater before they allow those in the Stand-By line to enter.

You can book the package as soon as it goes on sale - at least that was how it worked in past years.

No matter what anyone posts or what a particular CM says, I'd get up early and try as soon as sale date arrives, especially if you want one of the more popular restaurants and times. Good luck!

Bobbi - Mouseplanet.com said the CP Dinner Packages go on sale beginning next Tuesday, June 26. Look on their 6/18/2012 WDW Resort Update for the info. No pricing info yet, though.

What are your favorite restaurants for this? I am torn between Rose and Crown and not Tutto, but the other Italian restaurant. Something Napoli, name is escaping me right now. We have never dined at either, and would like to try somewhere new. We aren't looking for a fancy meal. DH is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, or pasta!

Pricing for 2012 has not yet been announced. However, there have not been any kind of discounts on the CP Dinner Packages in the past. The packages are so popular that Disney does not need to offer discounts. I do not look for any this year. I hope the 2012 prices will not be too much more than last year.

The Italian restaurant is Via Napoli.

Last year the online reservations did not start at the same time as the phone reservations. If I remember correctly is was one or two weeks later.

I was told that we can convert it to a CP package by one of the CMs.
