Candlelight Processional/Illuminations

I was finally able to reserve a 6:45 Candlelight Processional and an 8:00 Rose and Crown dinner package. The first 2 nights I tried to book Rose and Crown was only available BEFORE the show, finally I tried for Saturday, December 3rd and was able to make the reservation.

I really wanted THE ROSE AND CROWN for 8:30 hoping to be seated outside and enjoy Illuminations while eating dinner, but 8:00 is what they gave me. Just wondering, those of you who have eaten there, IF we are lucky enough to be seated outside will we be able to stay to see Illuminations.

You may already know this but Illuminations starts at 9:30 during the Christmas season/CP. I would say that 8:00 is okay for the chance to sit outside. I would suggest checking in around 7:30 - 7:45 and let them know that you'll wait for an outside seat. It is very popular and you do run the risk of not getting your preference. Good luck and we'll see you on the 3rd. Coming down 12/3 - 12/9!!

Update: Make that 7:45 or as early as possible. I forgot about the 6:45 show you referenced!!

Thank You PCFriar, perhaps if I state I am willing to wait for an outside table that will get us in the restaurant later and seated during the 9:30PM Illuminations.

Inside/Outside, doesn't really matter to me, I'll be at Disney!!!!!!!!

You will LOVE the special Christmas-time version of Illuminations It's about 8-10 minutes longer than the usual Illuminations and very special for the holidays.
This past year we had a 7:30 Rose & Crown PS. We checked in about 7:20 and mentioned to the CM that we wouldn't mind at all waiting for an outside table if possible. We were seated at a great outside table about 7:45. Had a very nice server; after greeting us she commented that she knew we were probably looking forward to seeing Illuminations along with our dinner that evening & that she would be sure to give us "plenty" of time to enjoy our various dinner courses so that we'd be having dessert right around time for the show
So, your 8 o'clock time should work out well for you. Enjoy your Christmas visit to the World ... it's such a wonderful time to be there.
