Candlelight Processional Dinner - Keep trying!

Just wanted to let people know that it really does pay to keep trying for those ADRs.

Yesterday I had a CM check for a table for 2 at 5 different restaurants any night 12/20 - 12/24 with no luck. This morning I called again and was able to get my 1st restaurant choice (Chefs de France) and had a couple of different dates and times to choose from.

Don't give up hope!

Now, if something would just open up at Brown Derby for the Fantasmic dinner package...

How did you have her try? Did she check by tier? Or by restaurant? Or by time? I was hoping to go the the 8:15 processional and couldn't get a single restaurant for that time - was able to get 6 30 one. How did you ask to have it checked?

I gave the CM the date range, indicating that my preference would be Christmas eve (like everyone else probably). I then gave her my top 5 restaurants (in order of preference) and let her check any way she wanted. Four of the 5 happen to be in tier 1, but she didn't seem to be able to check by tier but rather by individual restaurant.

My ADR is for 5:10pm dinner/8:15pm show. Keep trying! I'm going to keep trying for Christmas eve - I'll have them check when I call to see if I can get the Fantasmic dinner package.

I wish WDW would update ADR programming so that the CMs could put in multiple days and restaurants and then see a matrix indicating which restaurants had availability which days. Then they could click on that box and see what times were available. I feel bad for them now because they have to work so much to check each restauant for each day..

Thanks for the great advice! I tried for Dec 10, 12 and 13 but couldn't get any restaurant for any times. They were all booked. Looks like I'll have to start calling every day.

It pays to keep calling every day. I had cp already booked and I had to change it,of course they didn't have any thing left fot the date I wanted...and then I kept calling everyday and I was able to get one for the night I wanted. So don't give up

This year i booked by trip in july for december..................at the time of booking i was asked if i wanted to book dining. I went ahead and booked with the cm. I changed my dates and called back............i again changed some dining with the cm. I had cancelled a candlelight processional , and wanted to book another. I was told nothing was available and was heartbroken. About 15 minutes after i talked with disney travel i called the dining line and got the exact restaurant and time! What the heck changed in 15 minutes?? .............the cm at disney dining even had other times for the same evening. I just wonder if its who you talk to!
