Candlelight Processional - Best Guess?

Hello All,

Any resident experts that can take a guess at 12/1 or 12/8 for the date? As always, for whatever reason (maybe they don't know), DLR is kind of "mums the word". Thanks!

It's a Christmastime event, that I actually don't know much about, but have heard it's a pretty cool thing to see/be a part of if you've never done it before...

It is a Christmas Concert that tells the story of the birth of Christ.
Usually a celebrity narrates it and the Disney choir along with other school choirs all come together.
My choirs have done it before, it is a lot of work, not just the audition process but all the extra rehearsals, etc.

I've only been to the WDW version of this and am just curious how this works. Is it open first come first serve with a line like at Epcot, or is it ticketed?

I hope the Dec 1/2 guess are right. We are actually hoping to miss it this year, and I'm aiming for Dec.6-10th. Its a wonderful event. But...we've only been to the parks during the holidays and both times it happened to fall on the same weekend. I'd like to go with, and see if it effects crowds at all.

First come first served, sort of
A few benches are available to the regular park guests, and people camp out in them from when the park opens. The best views are held for Disney invited guests.

There are benches on either side which are first come first serve. Standing room is also first come first serve.
