Who sings in the choir? Are they all Disney employees? Visiting church choirs?

I'm listening to the CD, and wishing I could see the show this year. It's my favorite Disney event at Christmas.

Voices of Liberty, 4 female, 4 male 'main' singers, the green 'tree' are all Disney CM volunteers, different for many of the performances, the yellow sides are high school choirs, each different for each and every show. About 24,000 performers rotate through the month it plays. I think it one of the Christmas trip highlights every year, Bet. Saw it twice this year, once with a couple DIS'ers, the other with Natalie.

When we saw it last week, DH commented that the choir was "older". There's a mile long list of the participating choirs, most of which are high schools, but there are some church groups mentioned as well.

I can't imagine how they're able to coordinate this each year. It's an incredible experience and I'm always amazed at how they appear to have been singing together for years when you know that it's only for a few performances.

And I agree, Regina. It's an amazing show, especially since they don't have all the same performers (or narrorator) every night.

Tuffcookie - it's one of the best shows at WDW. You won't regret going!!!! I love it so much that it brings goosebumps to me just thinking about it. The first time we went was on Christmas Eve in 99 and I was having a hard time being away from home for the holiday's. Brought me right out of that rut to the point of tears. It was awesome!
