Candlelight Campout 2025

I edited the above post with my experience, but here are some other notes.

There was one other section where people were “camped out” all day. I believe these spots go first. I walked by a little after noon to stretch my legs, and it looked like this:

So this is the area where I was. I am friends with several of the people camped out there. They got me back in just after the first parade and just before the crush of everyone coming in standby. I had to leave midday to see my parents (one in hospital and the other in a board and care), but got back during the parade and thankfully was able to join my friends again. I sat on the ground next to one of the benches, so could not see a lot, but still enjoyed it again. There were less benches than in years past this year for this section.

Thanks for the pictures and the summary. Is the processional only for the first show and then everyone stays in place for the second show? Or do the performers leave and enter again? I've been there during the day of the Candlelight Processional but never stayed for the performance. I didn't realize they blocked off Main Street like that. Is there a reason?

Wasn't there this year, but have been in past years. The performers leave and enter again. It's easier to get a spot for the second show since the viewing areas will clear out as the first show ends.
