Candela "rechargable candles"

Anyone have these? I just bought some for a Christmas gift, got them and thought I better try them out to make sure they worked. Did everything right by the book but no light after charging. I'm very sure that I've done everything correctly and that the charging base is the problem but figured I'd check here to see if anyone had these and had any similar problems.

No help here, just wanted to say the candles look beautiful. I would love to have a set!
