So my poor mother needs yet another heart surgery. I had a trip planned for the first week of August that now has to be canceled so I can provide my mother with care after surgery. The good news is, the doctor feels really confident that she will do well. I'm worried about her ,but since this isn't the worried about mom board, I have some questions for you guys. When my boyfriend got the trip we got buy 4 get three.. which we now have to give up ... so...
- How do i get Pins in my name, I got a pin this year in my ex husbands name and was told I could not use it.. ideas for getting them in my name?
- any rumors for new promotions coming out? I wont be able to re-book until at least the end of Nov,, so
free dining is not an option?
- and other ideas?
OK, maybe this is something, maybe not. I like to dream about DW, like all of us do. So when I dream, I go online and actually price trips. I go all out. I mean, i book dining, value, deluxe, all of it. and then I save the offers. I have done this 10 times or so.
In fact, I did it a month ago. Ok, it's pathetic, but it's harmless. Anyway, while doing this, twice I have been interrupted by a Disney representative during my fun and asked if I needed help with booking. Now, what I mean by interrupted is that I was typing in info on their website, you know, Disneyworld.com, and while I was plugging in dates and desires and stuff, this text box pops up out of nowhere and the Disney rep says "hello, is there anyting I can help you with?" I know, sounds weird.
But so I start talking to this "person," who I am pretty sure is a computer programmed to respond to certain words, and I get all this info. But what I think they (Disney) do is take information from my username and apply it to an offer. I've been offered three codes. I have priced about 10 to 15 trips.
This last code I bit on. Free dining during a mid-Oct trip. Will there be other codes because I bit on this one? Likely. But that is what I think triggered the codes: actually pricing trips and getting their computers to ask if I needed help. THAT was luck of the draw.
I even asked the computer if there was a sure-fire way to get computer assistance every time I planned a trip. the "person" said no. It was totally luck of the draw.
My two cents: Start pricing trips. It can't hurt.
