Canceling a tasting

So I have a tasting booked for the first morning on the ship. I am now if my 48 hour window where I can’t cancel on the app. And be the time I get on the ship I will be with in 24 hours. I called the 800 number and they said there is nothing that can be done till I am on board. Has anyone experienced this and had an issue with canceling when they boarded even tho it will be with in 24 hours.

I cancelled a tasting 5 hours ahead of time on our September sailing and got a refund. Probably helped that I was in concierge but I would think as long as it’s the day before you should be fine.

I think this clears up a question I've had whether cancelation hours are before embarkation or before the energy itself.

Back in February I canceled a few hours before at the Guest Service desk because they changed out dining time. Got a full refund.
