It's hard to argue with a system that has provided many nations with stable, working government since 1720.

No, it's not.

Many groups are. And a Liberal vote in this election is a vote for reform. At least a vote for discussion.

And I'm sure reform has come to countries that have had stable, working governments.

I don't know if this is playing across the country. But did anyone catch Hazel McCallion's commercial endorsing the Liberal platform and calling out erroneous claims made by Harper's camp on seniors' issues?

I don't get local politicians getting involved in the fight, and often don't agree with it, but since she is speaking for seniors' issues I found it priceless.

Every commercial I've seen on TV has been Harper commercials, slamming Trudeau. Every now and then I see a Trudeau commercial along the lines of "they say I'm not ready," and talking about taxing the rich. That's about ALL I see. I wonder if it depends on the channel??

They've played the "he's not ready" commercial so much that even my kids are parroting it in mock fashion. Haven't seen the Hazel McCallion commercial here in Manitoba at all.

Every commercial I've seen on TV has been Harper commercials, slamming Trudeau. Every now and then I see a Trudeau commercial along the lines of "they say I'm not ready," and talking about taxing the rich. That's about ALL I see. I wonder if it depends on the channel??

It literally just started playing I think. I googled and she only threw in her support days ago. I can't find it online.

The reason I loved it is because my own mother used to quote PC/Conservative lines without any fact checking; if the information is erroneous being put out there for the Liberal platform for seniors/income splitting etc. then it needs to be said. Justin has said he won't mud sling but Hazel is no Justin.

I think her last line, in sarcasm to Harper's thought that seniors should be scared of the Liberal platform, is "Do I looked scared Stephen?". Laughing. She kills me. I might have made up the fact that she used his first name, so forgive me. Laughing.

Well I guess Mr. Trudeau is reconsidering the personal mud slinging. He's come out to say that Harper should be embarrassed to be openly supported by Rob Ford and family.
